Un gran saludo para toda la comunidad de Hive Motors bueno amigos, creo que todos tenemos algo que contar de nuestras experiencias, bien sea cuando mandamos a reparar el carro o algún equipo de la casa, o cuando nosotros somos los que prestamos el servicio, en cualquiera de los casos, siempre tenemos algo que contar, sea bueno o malo, aunque de las experiencias malas también aprendemos.

Les cuento que la mecánica no es mi profesión, pero me gusta mucho como hobby, mas que todo la mecánica ligera, antes cuando yo estaba más joven, digo hace 15 años atrás, no me importaba meterme debajo del carro para sacar cualquier pieza, pero ahora, he tratado de reparar mi carro solo cuando las fallas son sencillas, como reparar el alternador, mantenimiento del cuerpo de aceleración, entonación del motor, arreglo de los frenos etc, es decir, que no me gusta hacer aquellas reparaciones donde tenga que acostarme debajo del carro, en esos casos, prefiero buscar a alguien de mi confianza que lo haga, porque cuando se hace fuerza debajo del carro los músculos del cuello y la cabeza se estiran o se contraen, y después de esto lo que vienen son los dolores musculares, y nosotros los viejos, tenemos que cuidarnos para no estar comprando anti-inflamatorios, je je, por esta razón rechazo esos trabajos.

Una buena experiencia me dejó la reparación del Mitsubishi Lancer de mi hijo

Como les decía, me gusta la mecánica ligera, es decir, que me gusta realizar aquellos trabajos que sean sencillos, donde no tenga que meterme debajo del carro,
¡Pero! hace unos meses atrás, mi hijo me llamó para decirme que su carro Mitsubishi lancer, se le estaba sobre-calentando, así que le dije que lo iba a revisar, lo cierto fue que después de la revisión pude detectar el problema, el recalentamiento del motor lo estaba ocasionando la bomba de agua, les cuento que después de pensar y pensar, al final me decidí hacer el trabajo, de verdad que casi que le digo a mi hijo para buscar a Carlos quien es el mecánico de nuestra confianza, pero había que pagarle y mi hijo no tenia mucho dinero, tenia solo para comprar la bomba y la correa de tiempo, porque queríamos aprovechar para cambiarla.

Estoy seguro que muchos Mecánicos que publican en Hive-Motors saben que para cambiar la bomba de agua del Mitsubishi lancer, hay que quitar las correas, incluyendo la correa o banda de sincronización, así como también, la bomba de la dirección, el damper y el piñon del cigueñal, no es algo difícil, difícil, pero si hay que dedicarle tiempo, y después poner el motor del carro en el punto correcto de sincronización, bueno amigos, yo nunca le había colocado la correa del tiempo a este tipo de auto, este motor posee un solo árbol de leva, y lo bueno es que la polea lleva la marca de sincronización la cual tiene que estar a la par con la marca que está en la cámara de combustión, así mismo, el piñon del cigueñal posee una marca que tiene que coincidir exactamente con la marca que esta en el bloque del motor, de verdad que, yo nunca pensé que esto sería tan fácil, de manera que la bomba y el tiempo de sincronización quedaron bien, ¡les confieso! que después de terminar el trabajo y encender el auto, me senté en la acera y respiré profundo, porque de verdad yo deseaba que al pasar el suiche, todo saliera bien, con esta experiencia aprendí que: "No digas que algo es difícil sin siquiera intentarlo" Si muchas veces no nos atrevemos a realizar un trabajo por no tener confianza en nosotros mismos, reconozco que por momentos tuve desconfianza en mi mismo, pero como mi hijo no tenia mucho dinero para pagar la mano de obra, me anime y decidí hacer este trabajo, y fíjense que lo logré, de manera que esta fue una maravillosa experiencia y recuerden que:

Una experiencia mala, me hizo cambiar de confiado a ¡Suspicaz!

Si amigos, a veces nos pasan cosas desagradables, cuando mandamos a reparar algún equipo de la casa o del Auto, sobre todo cuando incluyen en la factura algunas piezas que no han colocado y las quieren cobrar, pero lo peor de todo es que nos enteramos que nos engañaron, después de cancelar la factura, bueno amigos, les cuento que a mi me pasó algo así cuando en una oportunidad lleve a reparar el alternador de mi pick-up chevrolet, eso me sucedió hace 21 años, para ese entonces, yo era un novato en la mecánica, pero después de eso, he tratado de hacer yo mismo las reparaciones en mis carros.

Les cuento mi experiencia mala:
Como les decía al comienzo, hace unos 21 años atrás, tuve una mala experiencia cuando llevé a reparar el alternador de mi pick-up chevrolet del año 81, para ese entonces, yo tenia la edad de 45 años, en realidad, lo único que reparaba de mi carro eran aquellas cosas sencillas como: los frenos, tren delantero, cambio de bujías, pero nunca intente reparar las piezas eléctricas como el alternador y el arranque, porque no sabia mucho de estas piezas, prefería llevarlas a un taller de electro-auto.

Llevando el alternador a reparar a un taller

Así que ese día, tuve que llevar a un electro-auto el alternador de mi pick-up, estando en el taller, un señor lo recibió y me dijo que esperara un momento que lo iban a revisar, confiando en el taller, le dije al señor, que yo pasaba en una hora y me dijo que si, que en ese tiempo lo tenia listo.

De regreso al taller para buscar el alternador:
Ese día me acompañaba un amigo y después de saborear unos deliciosos panes con dulce de guayaba, regresamos al electro-auto a buscar el alternador, al llegar al taller, el señor me dijo que ya estaba listo, y me dio alternador y la factura con el monto de la reparación, la verdad que el monto de la factura me pareció un poco alto, me explicó que le habían cambiado la diodera, el estator y el tridiodo, lo cierto fue que cancelé la factura con un cheque, porque para ese entonces en Venezuela se aceptaban los cheques, así que agarré el alternador y me fui, pero cuando voy llegando a la casa me dí cuenta que la diodera no la habían cambiado y me la cobraron, enseguida le dije a mi amigo que se regresará que me estaban engañando, lo que en Venezuela se conoce como: "Tracaleando", ahora ustedes se preguntarán como me di cuenta de ese detalle, se los explico, en una oportunidad me puse a pintar los tapa-válvulas con un spray de pintura de color amarillo, como el alternador quedaba arriba, le cayó pintura al alternador penetrando por las ranuras, salpicando a la diodera, esta era una evidencia clara, de que esta pieza no la habían cambiado.

De regreso al taller para reclamar la estafa

Al llegar al taller le dije al señor que me estaban cobrando la diodera y no la cambiaron, en ese momento se enojó, y me dijo: que eso no podía ser porque ellos son serios y responsables en su trabajo, enseguida le dije que yo conocía la diodera porque estaba salpicado con pintura amarilla, luego le dije que mirara la pieza, cuando el señor miró disimuladamente la diodera, se enfureció más, diciendome, que si no estaba conforme con el trabajo, que me devolvía el dinero, entonces, yo le dije con voz fuerte, ¡Claro! que me tienes que devolver el dinero, por lo menos tienes que cobrar lo justo, entonces me dijo, que si lo estaba llamando ladrón, y le respondí, tómalo como tu quisieras, pero me tienes que devolver el dinero, sino te denuncio, porque esa pintura que ves allí es la misma que esta en la carcasa del alternador, esa es la mejor evidencia, así que mejor que te quedes tranquilo y cobra lo justo, enseguida me dio la espalda y me mando el cheque con uno de sus trabajadores, bueno amigos, aunque no pagué nada, de mi boca desapareció el sabor dulce y delicioso de los panes de guayaba que me había comido, porque de verdad, pasé un mal momento.

Amigos, Déjenme decirles que aun conservo mi vieja pick-up, la cual muy pronto comenzaré a repararla, pero aun posee el mismo alternador del cual les he hablado, Miren la salpicaduras de pintura que aun permanecen en la carcasa y que penetraron hacia adentro, este fue la evidencia mas claro de la trampa que me estaban haciendo.

I tell you my bad experience:
As I said at the beginning, about 21 years ago, I had a bad experience when I had the alternator of my '81 Chevrolet pick-up repaired.
