Primera publicación que hago en esta comunidad #Hive-Motors con ganas de mostrar un poco mi moto y contar como costo cambiar los repuestos sin las herramientas adecuadas. Las siguientes fotos fueron sacadas el 15 de marzo del 2020 (la moto tenia 1 año), hoy dia tiene 5 años de usarla practicamente todos los dias para viajar y trabajar.

First post I make in this #Hive-Motors community with the desire to show my motorcycle a little and count the cost of changing the spare parts without the proper tools. The following photos were taken on March 15, 2020 (the motorcycle was 1 year old), today it has been used for 5 years practically every day to travel and work.

La moto es una 110, muy conocida por donde me muevo, unas de las motos que son economicas y dentro de todo duraderas con el tiempo, baratas de usar y que actualmente estan al rededor de 700.000 pesos, unos 842 dólares aproximadamente. Luego de darle un uso algo execibo y sin un buen control con el taller tuve la necesidad de romper el chanchito para comprar algunos repuestos que en la moto estaban ocasionando fallas, ellos son [la corona, piñon y la cadena] les muestro a continuación los repuestos que compre:

The motorcycle is a 110, very well known where I move, one of the motorcycles that are economical and ultimately durable over time, cheap to use and that are currently around 700,000 pesos, approximately 842 dollars. After using it somewhat excessively and without good control with the workshop I had to break the bank to buy some spare parts that were causing failures on the motorcycle, they are [the crown, sprocket and chain] I show you below the spare parts you buy:

Los consegui los 3 a 30.000 pesos, unos 34.09 dolares aproximadamente, algo caro para mi pero fueron necesarios para no convertir mis viajes en moto en peligro constante por alguna falla mecanica, asi que una vez que me organice con un familiar quien me iba a ayudar a cambiarlos empezamos a poner manos a la obra

I got the 3 of them for 30,000 pesos, approximately 34.09 dollars, something expensive for me but they were necessary to avoid turning my motorcycle trips into constant danger due to some mechanical failure, so once I organized myself with a family member who was going to help me to change them we begin to get to work

Por el calor que hacía ayer, tuvimos que hacer la reparación dentro de la casa de mi tio, en su sala, por suerte tiene aire acondicionado y un espacio mucho mas grande para hacer la reparacion, una vez aqui, empezo la travesia.

Because of the heat it was yesterday, we had to do the repair inside my uncle's house, in his living room, luckily it has air conditioning and a much larger space to do the repair, once here, the journey began.

Como ven en la imagen, la cadena esta muy floja, ya estaba haciendo tirones a la hora del andar, y tambien en varias ocasiones ya se ah salido la cadena andando, lo que es un peligro en la calle, el problema no fue únicamente la cadena, ya que las 3 partes que cambie [Cadena, piñon y corona] estan bien para utilizarlas en caso de emergencia futura, pero eran necesarios cambiarla lo antes posible, por eso este sería mi primer cambio de estas 3 partes desde que tengo la moto, 5 años de uso, increíble no?

As you can see in the image, the chain is very loose, it was already jerking when walking, and also on several occasions the chain has already come off while walking, which is a danger on the street, the problem was not only the chain, since the 3 parts that I changed [Chain, sprocket and crown] are fine to use in case of future emergency, but they needed to be changed as soon as possible, that is why this would be my first change of these 3 parts since I have had the motorcycle , 5 years of use, incredible right?

Una vez la rueda afuera, pudimos sacar la cadena y, la corona y el piñon, los 3 repuestos a cambiar, en ese momento todo iba bien y encaminado, hasta que nos topamos con la corona, esta parte de la moto que hace girar la rueda trasera de la moto no lográbamos sacarla, esos tornillos estaban más que fuertes agarrados a ella. Les muestro una foto mia intentando sacarlo.

Once the wheel was out, we were able to remove the chain, the crown and the sprocket, the 3 spare parts to change, at that moment everything was going well and on track, until we came across the crown, this part of the motorcycle that turns the wheel. We couldn't remove the rear wheel of the motorcycle, those screws were more than tightly attached to it. I show you a photo of me trying to get it out.

Miran la diferencia de la corona nueva con la vieja, no logre capturar una imagen buena para captar los pinches de cada una, y lo redondeados que estaban en la corona antigua, aunque pueda seguir funcionando y por eso la guarde, siempre es bueno ser precabido con estas herramientas (la moto) de trabajo y de movilidad.

They look at the difference between the new crown and the old one, I couldn't capture a good image to capture the pinches of each one, and how rounded they were in the old crown, although it can continue working and that's why I keep it, it's always good to be careful with these tools (the motorcycle) for work and mobility.

Cuando pudimos sacar la corona antigua, me puse a limpiar un poco esa parte, ya que como veran esta algo sucia por el cumulo de tierra y aceite

When we were able to remove the old crown, I started to clean that part a little, since as you can see it is somewhat dirty due to the accumulation of dirt and oil.

Una vez hecho esto, terminamos colocando la corona y el piñon en su lugar, en la imagen ven como de toda la tierra resplandece los repuestos nuevos en la moto 😅, faltaria un lavado URGENTE, ya se lo podre dar, pero esto no termino aqui desgraciadamente. Como ya sabrán, las cadenas vienen con mas dientes lo que generaba que quede muy suelta la cadena y seria lo mismo que nada, o incluso mucho peor, asi que tuvimos que arrancar 2 de ellos para poder engancharla y ajustarla adecuadamente, todo muy sencillo si hubiésemos tenido las herramientas adecuadas...

Once this is done, we end up placing the crown and the pinion in their place, in the image you see how the new parts on the motorcycle shine from all over the earth 😅, an URGENT wash is needed, I can give it to you, but this does not end here Unfortunately. As you already know, the chains come with more teeth which caused the chain to be very loose and it would be the same as nothing, or even much worse, so we had to tear off 2 of them to be able to hook it and adjust it properly, all very simple if We would have had the right tools...

A partir de este punto estuvimos al rededor de 2/3 horas intentando romper el diente de la cadena, viendo videos de youtube donde nos mostraban como lo hacian, pero al no contar con las herramientas necesarias nos costo muchísimo mas, yo me hubiese rendido al tercer intento pero mi tio no dio brazo a torcer y seguimos intentando hasta lograrlo y con ayuda de un vecino que aparecio justo en el momento adecuado, quien nos brindo otras herramientas (aunque no las mas optimas) que nos ayudo a acelerar el proceso.

From this point we spent around 2/3 hours trying to break the tooth of the chain, watching YouTube videos where they showed us how they did it, but not having the necessary tools it cost us much more, I would have given up. third attempt but my uncle did not give in and we continued trying until we succeeded and with the help of a neighbor who appeared just at the right time, who gave us other tools (although not the most optimal) that helped us speed up the process.

Y qui ya quedo, el piñon tapado como corresponde, la corona colocada bien con la cadena, luego de limpiar y guardar todo quede muy exausto, aun asi mi tio cocino unos ricos fideos con salsa y pudimos compartir una rica comida.

And that's it, the sprocket covered properly, the crown positioned well with the chain, after cleaning and putting away everything was very exhausted, even so my uncle cooked some delicious noodles with sauce and we were able to share a delicious meal.
