Here's my 34th Splinterlands Guild Brawl Report for PIZZA 2 The Deep Dish. 🍕⚔️🛡️
It's the ✨🏅✨Gold Foil Chaos Legion Fray no.12✨🏅✨ for the 17th week in a row for me.
Instead of listing out the results since week 1, I shall just tally up the total wins/losses from now on, as seen in the table below 😁. 📊📊📊

WOW! My win percentage really shot up considerably after the perfect 5-0 win streak in the previous brawl! 🏆🥳📈 It was really quite fortunate though that my desired splinter was available for every single match. There were also some really close battles, so all in all, it was a most satisfying result.
Would I be able to continue this good run of wins again then? 🤔💭 Or would it all come crashing down to earth? 😱😭 So lets see how it goes again for this week's brawl 😜.
As usual, I make an extra effort to rent ✨Gold Foil Chaos Legion✨ cards that align with my daily focus during Guild Brawl days.
Hopefully Lady Luck continues to shine on me 🍀🍀🍀 and I don't get too many weird ruleset combinations which will completely screw up my limited Gold Foil selection of cards. (🤣 yeah, that's how terrible I am, to have to rely on luck for my wins)
- Some thoughts I have about my exploits in the Gold Frays. 💭🤔
I feel like I'm winning because my opponent has even less Gold Foil cards available to him than I do. Personally, I find it slightly flattering to me. The teams I field are definitely not the absolute strongest, but more of what is available to me.
It also doesn't account for HOW I win some of the fights though. I've realised that a fair number of them are from opponents who just gave up and did not even face me in battle. ⚔️⚔️⚔️
My choice of picking up the Gold Foil frays is to simply give the Guild a better chance at accumulating more wins, seeing especially that IN THE PAST, many Gold Frays were left empty. Even if I were to lose everything and win just 1 match, it would definitely help in securing a better finishing position overall. 🥇🥈🥉
I had expected another 2 weeks to get another Gladius pack, but it seems this brawl rewarded me with quite a bit more than I expected. 😉
A new Gladius pack this week! 🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀 Fingers crossed for a Gold Foil (Legendary!!!) I hope 🤣🤑.
Unfortunately it was not meant to be. I still got a really good pull though. An Epic Marisol Contuma. Statwise, this card is a monster. 4 attack, 5 speed, 4 armor, 8 hp, with the reach and bloodlust ability. This card hits like a truck, can attack from the 2nd slot, is about one of the fastest cards in the game, and has an amazing EHP to boot! 😱 My only complaint is that this isn't a Gold Foil card 🤣, so I probably won't be able to use it anytime soon unless the Fray assignments are changed.
I've joined the Pizza 2 Guild over at the PIZZA DISCORD and was introduced to the world of Guild Brawls in Splinterlands. It has been an interesting experience to say the least. 🎉🥳🎊
Guild Brawls are generally the same as Battles, but with some minor tweaks (of which I'll save for another day). Lets get right down to business as I analyze my brawls. 🧐⚔️🛡️
With all that said, lets FINALLY get down to a review of my battles 😁, or in some cases where my opponent fled 🏃🏻💨 - non battles 😨.

Well, this is a nice start to the Brawls. A free win for my first battle. 😁
The opponent FLED! 🏃🏻🏃🏻🏃🏻 Yay? I guess. A win is a win - no matter how it comes about.
WON.
I was a tad worried at first when the opponent's Silent Shavi sneak attacks started taking down the backline of the team. Fortunately, my Carnage Titan ate through his tank rather quickly and brought the Shavi to the front.
I was also trying out my new shiny toy, the Witch of Warwick, which I got in my previous Gladius opening. Unfortunately, the opponent's selection of Thaddius Brood with it's magic reduction meant that the Witch's effectiveness was muted. It still performed admirably though, dealing some damage with it's lifesteal enabling it to take that hit from the opponent's Shavi, without which it would have died instantly.

Well, that ended rather quickly. I had only 2 opponents this week, which meant a lot of opposing guilds completely gave up and did not enter this Gold Foil fray at all. This means PIZZA 2 gets a huge advantage in terms of score with every extra win we manage to score in these frays. 😁
I finished with a PERFECT 2-0 win streak! 💯💯💯
Another perfect week for me. Albeit with only 2 matches played and one of them being a walkover 🥳🥳🥳. It was still most satisfying though. I always relish each and every win in the Gold Foil frays.
I feel it's important that Guilds are able to fill out all the frays - even the significantly "harder" Gold ones. It is very likely that most guilds (at our level) skip the Gold frays completely, or are unable to even field a team if they've got no Gold Foil Summoners. This therefore leads to a better overall score.

AMAZING!!! Looks like I wasn't the only one with a nice win streak. Everyone performed amazingly well today! PIZZA 2 took the 1st position by a far margin ahead of everyone else too! It was an emphatic victory.
