With the recent market conditions, how can I call anything Bullish? Yeah I get the sceptics saying how anyone crying bullish in this bear market is full of bull sh!t.

However certain projects have so much going for them, the market while a factor isn't the only deciding one. Splinterlands team has proven to me their talent over the years I have been playing, my philosophy is that I invest in the talent behind a project not the project itself.

All the skill in the world gets you nowhere without any one to take note, this is where the fans & players new - old come in.

The crypto market is like this because bad actors caused us to loose faith in it, we the consumers grant all of these economic systems power, I choose to put my faith in Splinterlands, HIVE, & WAX. In todays write up ill try to inform you of several reasons why you should also put your faith in Splinterlands.

No.1 Promotional NFTs (Winter Fest)

Promotional NFTs are a great perk with the Splinterlands NFT colection, these promo cards are often heavy hitters & are not easily forgotten.

The Arkemis the Bear NFT marks Promo NFT number 30 or 60 with gold foils, all these cards have their strengths all the more obvious at max level.

This Powerful Precocious Polar Bear hands down has to be the best Bear in this (bear crypto market).

Powerful yes, but also easily understood Arkemis the Bear, (BTW read the card description) Arkemis the Bear is both a blessing & a curse, what form it takes depends entirely upon you.

Arkemis the Bear Description echoes a personal belief, when times are tough, we want to worry about our own issues, however often I find those with the least in this world are often the most generous.

What I'm doing during Winterfest is stocking up on this promo, powerhouse, of a anthropomorphized polar bear.

I unfortunately seemingly cant send the Splinterlands NFT Arkemis the Bear to WAX yet, I'm going to check into it because I want to feature it in a airdrop I suppose if that's not possible I can post a HIVE NFT giveaway instead.

No.2 Packs

Just packs, specifically Splinterlands NFT packs, why are packs something to get hype for?

The reason I personally think the NFT packs are something special, is I have gone through the trouble of learning how to create NFT packs on WAX & XTZ. Not to mention minted NFTs on 6 or maybe 7 separate blockchains it depends on how you define MATIC relative to ETH.

Suffice it to say after years of studying & testing this stuff you learn to recognize above average designs.

Hate to go all after school special on you, although while NFTs & blockchain are not exactly something you can find a school in which you learn about this deceptively complex subject.

Luckily most Blockchain Dapps tend to share build information which is the opposite of the tech industry as a whole. So when it comes to material on the subject your fairly well covered.

Normally NFT packs are predeterminate being decided when the pack is minted based on altering colection sizes, rarities, & other plugin RNG Boolean systems.

Splinterlands is actually decided at moment of execution IE when the pack is opened.

Its due to how special the packs are designed, that we the players can actually increase our odds of getting something of higher value in a pack.

This is accomplished with potions 5 of each on each pack of 5 slightly increasing your odds on every card with a potion to cover it.

Because the packs like the chaos legion pack for instance launch with extra cards which get added to them after sales milestones are reached, this causes an airdrop for that Pack colection.

These Airdropped cards are then added to potential pack contents for that colection of packs.

The chaos legion packs have added since launch 10 Legendary cards, this increases the odds of encountering 1 as we have increased from 90 total cards to 100 in that colection the cards added all legendary increase their ratio from 16 out of 90 to 26 out of 100 of potential cards.

Add to this marvelous mechanic the potions & all of a sudden you have a game rigged in your favor.

We also have voting from SPS staking a form of game governance for purposed game changes, (ill explain SPS further later on in this write up) why this is relevant to packs is Splinterlands is currently burning many of the chaos legion packs as we players voted they did so.

Right now everyone is panicking, holidays, the market crash its easy to freak out.

Here's something newer players may not know, the Untamed Pack line use to sell for $1.75 a piece.

Now these Untamed packs sell for $18 still in this market 10x it previous value, respectable trade volume.

Land Plots traded for $18 now $180 what I have observed is while supplies wax & wane, the consistent demand remains.

No.3 SPS

With the market melt down how can I say SPS is in a positive place?

Monetarily yeah its definite low point in the SPS price history, cant lie its a little disappointing.

Understand however SPS while circulating over a year now, has not fully been rolled out yet, we are getting very close.

My understanding is that SPS delegation will eventually be added, for both the voting (already active), & player Delegation.

According to the SPS white paper SPS could be delegated for vote weight or delegation to other players for a % of their SPS rewards from a ranked match history.

I believe the SPS staked or delegated to a player would increase the SPS rewards from ranked matches, this when implemented changes SPS earnings around entirely.

SPS delegation options could create a new form of professional gamer, Splinterlands dev team has the talent to pull something like this off melding the lines that divided average fans from professional players. The ability to endorse a favorite player & reap the benefits from their success, as they reap the benefits from increased delegation.

My belief is value is strictly subjective in our modern culture, we as a culture in the past used (needs) to define value, food / water / shelter.

A fantastic book by Jean Baudrillard Simulacra and Simulation actually goes over our modern cultures materialism & how its altered how we perceive value.

Since the crypto market is a subjective one, if we the fans rally around Splinterlands / SPS & celebrate the projects brilliance, collectively value can be created from perception.

This is sorta how Uber works perceived value + low rates = creating market supremacy. Uber has during this time did not profit from operation of the rideshare as a business. Now however they have no competition Rates for rides serge & unethical employment practices later they are in the green.

Its our perception our faith that gives anything value, no longer routed in utility, but collective perception.

So the question is less does the market value SPS, but instead do you perceive SPS as having value.

No.4 Land Plots

Now land plots are finally getting used in game, originally sold as a form of kick starter of sorts, with no promised immediate use, but providing the team with colterol to vastly improve their project.

Given the fans benevolence in supporting the project via land plot purchases, they have already had a number of benefits tied to land plot.

Now phase 0.5 set to begin, I cant help but feel a sense of elation at their accomplishments. Its best to get this info straight from the source below is the official post.

No.5 Collaboration

Many players are also affiliates with Splinterlands myself included, by collaboration my aim is a little higher than affiliate marketing.

The Splinterlands project collaborations are actually so prolific ill just go over a few recent ones.

One I found shocking Waka Spiritblade, a collaboration with the musician (waka flocka flame) this card has special NFT features through WAX.

So basically they brought a meme to life well done.
