Creating content is the way how we can earn rewards and value our knowledge on one or more topics in which we have knowledge, in this case, creating content about "Splinterlands" I love and passionate about, since, being able to guide new and not so new players in strategies and game modes that have worked for me personally, is very rewarding, since our job is to add value in our own way, is very gratifying, since, our job is to add value in our own way, also, that new users who enter to play have the right information, is key for our investment to grow as "Splinterlands" grows, which positions it as one of the best games in the entire Blockchain ecosystem.
Although this sounds simple, it is not an easy task, since we must take into consideration very important aspects for our content to be of the highest possible quality, in turn, the idea is that it adds value for new users and for existing ones, it is for this reason that I decided to create this post as a guide for users who create content about the game, to have a notion and another perspective, of what they should really do to make their content shine and be adequately rewarded for their effort and dedication to build a post.
Splinterlands has to its credit many features that we can talk about in a post, I know that the weekly battle challenges are specific in the information that is requested, but, it is not all that we can do, as we can put our personal touch to the analysis of a battle, talk about strategy and the confluence of card abilities that are the ones that commonly make us win, talk about amazing combos that stand out in a battle that you thought you lost.
These are things we can talk about, and it is far from being the only thing, since, all the features of the game, can serve as a topic to talk about and bring knowledge and value to the community, for example, some of the topics that could be covered in a post are the following:
- Skill combinations for better combos.
- Some tutorials that openly talk about how to buy, sell and/or rent cards in the market.
- Talk about relevant economic aspects of the game.
- Talk about statistics related to various aspects of the game (The market, the ratio of wins and/or losses and how they affect the rewards.
- Talk about some specific cards regarding their great performance in battle or some specific strategies.
- Create fictional stories about some of the monsters in the game, a story of my own talking about "Splinterlands". These are things I would like to see, I haven't seen a story that doesn't officially come from the game and is awesome.
This is a very important part when making our posts about "Splinterlands", while the writing and what we talk about in the post is important, we must not forget something that has the same relevance and has to do with how we embellish our posts, how we apply the "Markdown" codes to give it a visually attractive and pleasing layout to the eye of the reader or the curator and how we can use other design tools, to highlight and make our posts something amazing and original.
I am used to read many posts about the game and more than 90% of the posts have a formatting that is not visually pleasing, where they do not justify the text, do not use text separators to give order to the post, do not use fonts (Letters) from external sources to make their titles and subtitles more visible, do not use tables to be able to order certain relevant information and do not use design tools that can easily highlight their posts. These are the kinds of things that I don't see very often and this speaks directly to the effort and desire that everyone puts into their publications.

Here are some text separators

Part of being a content creator is to know and accept that, an image can say more than 1000 words, with this I want to get to the point that, the writing and detail in a post is perfect, the more details you comment and the more you bring value in that post, I think it is wonderful, but, you can not forget the part of the design in confluence with the layout of the post, as this speaks of the effort we can place in any post, not only of "splinterlands".
For this, I am used to use several design platforms that allow me to highlight many aspects of my publications, which brings as a consequence that, each of my posts are original, highlighting that, I invest a great amount of my time doing it, since, I have been learning on my own about these tools on how to use them, to be able to design, my covers, my banners, text separators, and everything that is within my creativity to make my post visibly impressive.
It is important that, if we will take content creation seriously, as part of our job in bringing value to the blockchain, we don't just get used to sharing anything, we must put our heart and creativity into it to always stand out, so, with this in mind, I will name some of the platforms and/or applications that I usually use to beautify my posts:
- Photoshop: (I'm not an expert, but every day I'm learning more and more).
- Canva: This is a great platform, it is the one I use the most and the one I have learned to use since the beginning of my journey in HIVE.
- If you don't want or don't know how to use photoshop, these pages are very good for making colorful titles. Flamingtext y Cooltext.
Certainly there are many topics and aspects that we can highlight in a post about "Splinterlands", as well as we have many things to do, there are also aspects that we should NOT do and that I have seen that some do, since, as I said, I read practically every day post about "Splinterlands", since, my job is to appreciate every post about the game on the platform.
With this in mind, I will proceed to detail the things you should NOT do, as this may cause you to not receive more support from the game as far as content creation is concerned:
This is something that the rest of the curators and I have been facing lately, there are many new and not so new users that create alternate accounts to be able to create game content in all of them, which is NOT allowed in any way, as you can only be allowed to create content in only one account per user.
Users can have as many accounts as they want and play on all of them, there is no problem, but they can only create content on one, as this can be punishable and can be labeled as "Bounty Farmers", which only seek to squeeze the platform.
This is another thing you are definitely NOT allowed to do, this happens mostly in the "Splinterlands" art contest, many users create their drawings, and then after weeks, upload the same drawing again either in their own account or in an alternate account, changing a little bit the step by step and editing the images they share.
This is definitely NOT allowed and we must be honest with the content we share from the game, since the idea is to provide value and earn the reward in the fairest way possible, if you have a talent such as drawing and / or design, do not damage your reputation wanting to cheat the system and curators, this platform is full of thousands of talents, so take advantage of your gifts to stand out.
This is something obvious, but I have to say it, you can't copy and paste official game information and put it in a post as if it was totally "Original" and without highlighting its source, this usually happens a lot with the "Lore" of the game that, is the official story that each card has and that all together form an incredible fictional story behind what is "Splinterlands", While highlighting a small part of the LORE with its source is not bad, the idea is that we are completely original and write our own version of the story based on the original, or simply talk about the original story but with our own words.
The game is very extensive and has a large amount of content, so we have everything at our disposal to be able to detail in an original way, our own vision of the elements of "Splinterlands".
Many of the rules that I will describe below are set out in the "Splinterlands" challenge posts that I publish weekly, however, as this is a post to help you improve your content and what you present, it is good that I remind you of the rules that you must follow so that you can get rewards for your effort and the content that you publish about our wonderful game:
You can only publish 2 post per week per user (It is not per account).
Your posts must be shared in the comments during the first 5 days of the post, since, until this day the entries in that challenge post will be curated.

Crear contenido es la forma en cómo podemos ganar recompensas y valorar nuestros conocimientos sobre uno o varios temas en los que tengamos conocimientos, en este caso, crear contenido sobre “Splinterlands” me encanta y apasiona, puesto que, el poder guiar a los nuevos y los no tan nuevos en estrategias y modos de juego que a mí personalmente me han funcionado, es muy gratificante, ya que, nuestra labor es agregar valor a nuestra propia manera, además, el que los nuevos usuarios que ingresan a jugar tengan la información adecuada, es clave para que nuestra inversión crezca a su vez que “Splinterlands” crece, lo que lo posiciona como uno de los mejores juegos en todo el ecosistema Blockchain.
Ah pesar de que esto suena sencillo, tampoco es tarea fácil, ya que debemos tener en consideración aspectos muy importantes para que nuestro contenido sea de la más alta calidad posible, a su vez de que, la idea es que agregue valor para los nuevos usuarios y para los ya existentes, es por esta razón que, he decidido crear este post como guía para que los usuarios que crean contenido sobre el juego, tengan una noción y otra perspectiva, de que realmente deben realizar para que su contenido brille y este sea recompensado adecuadamente por su esfuerzo y dedicación al construir un post.
Splinterlands tiene en su haber muchas características de las cuales podemos hablar en un post, sé que los desafíos de batalla semanales son específicos en la información que se pide, sin embargo, no es todo lo que podemos realizar, ya que podemos colocarle nuestro toque personal al análisis de una batalla, hablar sobre la estrategia y la confluencia de las habilidades de las cartas que son las que comúnmente nos hacen ganar, hablar sobre combos asombrosos que resalten en una batalla que creías perdida.
Estas son cosas que podemos hablar, y está lejos de ser lo único, puesto que, todas las características del juego, pueden servir como un tema del cual hablar y que aporte conocimiento y valor para la comunidad, por ejemplo, algunos de los temas que se podrían abarcar en un post son los siguientes:
- Las combinaciones de habilidades para mejores combos.
- Algunos tutoriales que hablen abiertamente sobre como comprar, vender y/o rentar cartas en el mercado.
- Hablar sobre aspectos económicos relevantes sobre el juego.
- Hablar sobre estadísticas relacionadas con varios aspectos del juego (El mercado, la relación de victorias y/o derrotas y como estas afectas las recompensas.
- Hablar sobre algunas cartas específicas referente a su gran desempeño en la batalla o en algunas estrategias específicas.
- Crear historias ficticias sobre algunos de los monstruos del juego, una historia propia hablando sobre “Splinterlands”. Son cosas que me gustaría ver, no he visto una historia que no venga oficialmente del juego y sea increíble.
Esta es una parte muy importante al momento de realizar nuestros puestos sobre “Splinterlands”, si bien la escritura y lo que hablemos en el post es importante, no debemos olvidar algo que tiene la misma relevancia y tiene que ver con cómo embellecemos nuestras publicaciones, de qué forma aplicamos los códigos del “Markdown” para darle un maquetado visualmente atractivo y agradable al ojo del lector o el curador y cómo podemos utilizar otras herramientas de diseño, para resaltar y hacer de nuestras publicaciones algo increíble y original.
Estoy acostumbrada a leer muchas publicaciones sobre el juego y más del 90% de las publicaciones tienen un formato que no es agradable visualmente, donde no justifican el texto, no utilizan separadores de texto para darle orden al puesto, no usan fuentes (Letras) de fuentes externas para hacer más visibles sus títulos y subtítulos, no utilizan tablas para poder ordenar cierta información relevante y no utilizan herramientas de diseño que pueden resaltar fácilmente sus puestos. Son este tipo de cosas que no observo muy seguido y esto habla directamente del esfuerzo y las ganas que coloca cada quien en sus publicaciones.

Parte de ser un creador de contenido es saber y aceptar que, una imagen puede decir más que 1000 palabras, con esto quiero llegar a que, la escritura y el detalle en un puesto está perfecto, mientras más detalles comentes y más aportes valor en ese post, me parece de maravilla, pero, no se puede olvidar la parte del diseño en confluencia con el maquetado del post, ya que esto habla del esfuerzo que podemos colocar en cualquier post, no solo de “splinterlands”.
Para esto, estoy acostumbrada a utilizar varias plataformas de diseño que me permiten resaltar muchos aspectos de mis publicaciones, lo que trae como consecuencia que, cada uno de mis puestos sean originales, resaltando que, invierto una gran cantidad de mi tiempo realizándolo, puesto que, he estado aprendiendo por mi cuenta sobre estas herramientas en cómo utilizarlas, para poder diseñar, mis portadas, mis banner, separadores de texto, y todo lo que este dentro de mi creatividad para hacer mi post visiblemente impresionante.
Es importante que, si nos tomaremos la creación de contenido en serio, como parte de nuestro trabajo en aportar valor a la cadena de bloques, no nos acostumbremos a compartir cualquier cosa, debemos colocar nuestro corazón y nuestra creatividad en ello para siempre resaltar, así que, teniendo esto en cuenta, nombrare algunas de las plataformas y/o aplicaciones que suelo utilizar para embellecer mis posts:
- Photoshop: (No soy una experta, pero cada día estoy aprendiendo más y más)
- Canva: Esta es una gran plataforma, es la que más utilizo y la que he aprendido a utilizar desde el principio de mi viaje en HIVE.
- Si no quieres o no sabes usar photoshop, estas páginas son muy buenas para hacer títulos coloridos Flamingtext y Cooltext.
Ciertamente hay muchos temas y aspectos que podemos resaltar en una publicación sobre “Splinterlands”, así como tenemos muchas cosas por realizar, también hay aspectos que NO debemos hacer y que he visto que algunos lo hacen, puesto que, como comenté, leo prácticamente todos los días post sobre “Splinterlands”, ya que, mi trabajo es apreciar cada post sobre el juego en la plataforma.
Teniendo en cuenta esto, procederé a detallar las cosas que NO deben realizar, ya que esto puede causar que no reciban más apoyo del juego en cuenta a creación de contenido se refiere:
Esto es algo a los que el resto de curadores y yo nos hemos enfrentado últimamente, hay muchos usuarios que nuevos y no tan nuevos que se crean cuentas alternas para poder crear contenido del juego en todas ellas, lo que NO está permitido de ninguna manera, ya que solo se puede permitir crear contenido en una sola cuenta por usuario.
Los usuarios pueden tener las cuentas que deseen y jugar en todas ellas, no hay ningún problema, pero solo pueden crear contenido en una sola, ya que esto puede ser penado y puede ser catalogado como “Agricultor de recompensas”, los cuales solo buscan exprimir la plataforma.
Esta es otra cosa que definitivamente NO pueden realizar, esto sucede más que todo en el concurso de arte de “Splinterlands”, muchos usuarios crean sus dibujos, para luego después de semanas, volver a subir el mismo dibujo o en su propia cuenta o en una cuenta alterna, cambiando un poco el paso a paso y editando las imágenes que comparten.
Esto definitivamente NO está permitido y debemos ser honestos con el contenido que compartimos del juego, ya que la idea es aportar valor y ganarnos la recompensa de la forma más justa posible, si tienen un talento como es el de dibujar y/o diseñar, no dañen su reputación queriendo engañar al sistema y a los curadores, esta plataforma está llena de miles de talentos, así que aprovechen sus dones para poder resaltar.
Esto es algo obvio, pero tengo que decirlo, no se puede copiar y pegar información oficial del juego y colocarlo en un puesto como si fuera totalmente “Original” y sin resaltar su fuente, esto suele pasar mucho con el “Lore” del juego que, es la historia oficial que posee cada carta y que todas juntas forman una increíble historia de ficción detrás de lo que es “Splinterlands”, si bien, resaltar una pequeña parte del LORE con su fuente no está mal, la idea es que seamos completamente originales y escribamos nuestra propia versión de la historia basándonos en la original, o sencillamente hablar sobre la historia original pero con nuestras propias palabras.
EL juego es muy extenso y tiene una gran cantidad de contenido, así que, tenemos todo a nuestra disposición para poder detallar de forma original, nuestra propia visión de los elementos de “Splinterlands”.
Muchas de las reglas que describiré a continuación estas expuestas en los posts de desafíos de “Splinterlands” que publica semanalmente, pero, como este es un post para ayudarlos a mejorar su contenido y lo que presentan, es bueno que, les recuerde las reglas que deben cumplir para que puedan obtener recompensas por su esfuerzo y el contenido que publiquen sobre nuestro maravilloso juego:
Solo se pueden publicar 2 post a la semana por usuario (No es por cuenta).
Sus puestos deben compartirlo en los comentarios durante los primeros 5 días del post, ya que, hasta este día se curarán las entradas que haya en dicho post de desafío.
El voto en ningún momento está garantizado, esto queda a criterio del curador en turno.
NO pedir votos, esto definitivamente no es ético y si llega a suceder no serán curados bajo ningún concepto, dejen que su esfuerzo, dedicación y las ganas de aportar valor hablen por ustedes.
