The image that I chose to participate in the contest, I made a couple of years ago while I was studying photography in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. In a lighting class, the task was to reproduce a movie poster, I chose the one for the movie "Gran Torino" which seemed perfect to me to manage the lights in a very interesting way.
I love this type of discreet lighting, which gives the effect of chiaroscuro, you can easily see the contrast and the necessary precision in the location of the lights and the measurements with the photometer on the model, who was one of my classmates. This was the end result of that kind of lighting that I really liked.

🇻🇪 Hola estimados hivers. Nos volvemos a ver en esta nueva semana para el concurso de #Qurator, esta vez con el tema "Low key photography".
La imagen que elegí para participar en el concurso, la realicé hace un par de años mientras estudiaba fotografía en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina. En una clase de iluminación, la consigna era reproducir un afiche de alguna película, yo elegí el de la película "Gran Torino" que me parecía perfecto para manejar las luces de una forma muy interesante.
Me encanta este tipo de iluminación discreta, que da el efecto de claroscuro, se puede ver fácilmente el contraste y la precisión necesaria en la ubicación de las luces y las medidas con el fotometro sobre el modelo, quien era uno de mis compañeros de clase. Este fue el resultado final de esa clase de iluminación que a mi me gustó mucho.
