This is a rather unusual request from #qurator and I am assuming they are wanting us to talk about and show photos of our families well I suppose, I am ok with that, I love and enjoy looking back at family photos especially the old black and whites from years ago they bring back the greatest times and memories, it makes you realize how fast we have grown and how short life really can be, my motto has always been enjoy life to the fullest and live every moment the best you can because you just never know what's around the corner as the saying goes.
This is our close and tight family my mother and father were both very active and lead a very busy lifestyle raising six boys and one girl, my full respect and gratefulness goes out to them for doing just a great job bringing us, all up to respect and love human society and one another and gave us all a great education along the way, unfortunately our father is not with us anymore he is in the house of God in peace.
Been bought up in a Italian background culture was hard, but it taught us to be one working team and we still do this, till today helping and solving each others problems in every way we can and our mother at the age of 86 years old is still there with us guiding and advising us in the best way she can God Bless her we love her dearly. 🙏
I will say that back in my very early age the way of life was hard but it was more fun as with family functions almost every weekend we would all come together uncles, aunts, and cousins whether it was a weddings, christenings, birthdays or just a weekend family get together they were always enjoyable catching up with family, remaining a tight community was comforting knowing that close blood families were always there if needed to call upon.
The functions, the Sunday lunches with family, I could never get enough of not only because I was catching up with my cousins, nieces and nephews but the barbecues were just awesome and all the families would bring some home cooked Italian cuisines they were just to die for and we still do that till this day.
This family unit till today, giving great respect to my parents is, still till today whether dwelling together or not remined a tight working family with uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces we can all consult with one another socially or in whatever need, isn't that what family is all about and I am so happy it has rubbed of all the way up the family tree.
I have so much enjoyed looking back through these family photos and writing about my unforgettable memories of my father, some uncles and aunts that are also in God's house were we will all be one day to reunite and talk about the good times and toss to that but for now love your family members stay close and enjoy every moment in life to the fullest.
