This photo is my entry in the Qurator’s Photo Quest of this week, the topic is Disaster. The rules of the contest can be read here.
This photo was taken on November 2019, when there were riots at the centre of Antofagasta (Chile) and many buildings of the city centre were set on fire. There was a huge and dense smoke column that can be seen in the image.
The camera used was a Sony A7 with a lens Sony FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6. The image was edited with Gimp.
Con esta foto estoy participando en el concurso fotográfico de esta semana organizado por @qurator, cuyo tema es "Disaster", que lo prefiero traducir como "catástrofe" en vez de “desastre”. Los reglas del concurso se encuentran en este enlace. Esta foto fue tomada en noviembre del 2019 en Antofagasta (Chile), cuando hubo revueltas y saqueos en la ciudad. Varios edificios del centro de la ciudad fueron incendiados simultáneamente produciéndose una inmensa y densa columna de humo, que muestra la imagen. La foto fue tomada con una cámara Sony A7 usando un lente Sony FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6. La imagen fue procesada con Gimp.
