Abandoned Places must be colored, so my attempt today will be in black and white, it seems to me that a monochrome photo better conveys the mood of desolation that I felt when I was near this abandoned house. My feelings at the time were so sharp because literally twenty meters away was Svobody Avenue - one of the central and most crowded streets of Lviv, where life is always bustling, as well as the Lviv Opera House, a symbol of luxury and wealth, one of the hallmarks of Lviv. And here is a whole abandoned house nearby, which is about to fall apart. I want to note that this photo was taken a few years ago, so maybe this house has already been restored and there is a hotel, shop or pub with a fancy name. It would be very strange if this were not the case. | Я не знайшов у правилах, що фото, які беруть участь в "Qurator's Photo Quest. Abandoned Places" обов'язково мають бути кольоровими, тому моя сьогоднішня спроба буде в чорно-білих тонах, мені здається, що монохромне фото краще передає той настрій запустіння, який я відчував, перебуваючи біля цього закинутого будинку. Мої тодішні відчуття були такими гострими через те, що буквально за двадцять метрів знаходився проспект Свободи - одна з центральних і найбільш багатолюдних вулиць Львова, де завжди бурхливо кипить життя, а також Львівський оперний театр, символ розкоші та багатства, одна з візитівок Львова. І тут неподалік цілий закинутий будинок, який ось-ось розвалиться. Я хочу зазначити, що це фото було зроблене декілька років тому, тому, можливо, цей будинок вже відреставрували і там знаходиться якийсь готель, крамничка чи кнайпа з вигадливою назвою. Було б дуже дивно, як би це було не так. |
