Ossu Hivers! I wish you a great day everyone!
With my Master Nilo Gunhuran on my right and Master Joel on the left.
What a busy school life I have since face-face classes is back. Staying at home has easily become normal for most of us maybe to a teenager like me. We find it more comfortable, owning our time is imcomparable, having able to just relaxed and not worrying about anything was really making our life more comfortable. That pandemic is like a coin, coin has two sides. Some bad some good results. For me, it has a good impact because I had ample of time then, It gave me more oppurtunities in joining different sports. And today I'm going to talk about Karate, one of the sports I'm 'in'.
I could clearly recall when I first joined the club, I thought it's all about fighting and being tough and that no one would be able to break me incase a bad guy is around, or incase someone would mistakenly 'be little me'. I thought I would be breaking bud guys bones and ligaments, but then I was all wrong.
The more I trained, the more I relaized the importance and value ofones existence.Yes, the combat mastery is injected but more to that is a self-descipline, at least there were changes in me. I acknowldege that there is more for me to learn, in fact I only know so litle and that I would be willing and open to learning.
This is our second home. We treated each other as one family. They are like my brothers and sisters. Our Masters treated us like their own children. In fact, Master Nilo has given all his dedication and passion, training us twice a week. He live in another island, so he travel all the way crossing the ocean every week. And you do you know much much is the payment they asked? It's like almost for free. P750 for 4 sessions and 3 hours training per sessions. That's quite something. That means a lot. They are doing it for pure passion. I am so glad to have met these kind of real people. The effort, time, money they put into it I know it's not in vain. I will be forever grateful to them. I hope to write more as I am continuing this karate journey.
Thanks for stopping by.
