Check out how well the hive logo glows in my custom glow in the dark labubu
It really glows nicely with this glowing filament
Makerworld.com is where you can eqrn points for uploading 3d models
"But i dont 3d model" well when u get a 3d printer you will
"But ackza i dont HAVE a 3d printer" well when you post enough hive posts asking questions offering advice or ideas to makerworld uploads like toys and statues you really want, those points over a hive community can easoly add up into an account usable only for buying printers or filament like banbulabs gift card system where 490 points = $40 gift card or $25 in real cash redemable to a bank account (perfect opportunity here to actually add a makerworld crypto that can be used to buy filament, 3d printers, accesories and actual 3d models youd wanna buy and trust me, tyere ARE some $1 to $3 toys and fidget items good enough to wanna soend a few dollars on. Like some 3d printable nerf guns that use a rubber tube segment a spring and some screws and 3d printed parts and darts.... those designs are WORTH paying $6 for... because sure you can just get a free verwion and soend that 6 bucks on parts but eventually youll get a newfound apreciation for the craft
And honestly makerworld SHOULD have a cryptocurrency backed by bambulabs gift cards... the banbuhandy app which is just makerworld...should have a built in etsy market and printfarm manager and shipping label generator and delivery logistics planner all in one ....so every 3d printer becomes a miner ... the tokens flowing around will be actually useful as credit to users who prove they can setup a small business sell items and pay license royalties... generating money for anyone who wants to "lend" someone their 3d models and the use of a few local idle 3d printers in peoples basememts that can be going 247 just to manufacture merch!
Like we simply need a few hive makerworld bots... and it will all reveal itself as a great business idea... it reminds me of that proton XPR token based GLB 3d model for game assets market that used nfts. So the nfts were sctual 3d models. Now 3d printing uses STLs instead of GBL or is it GLB? anyway we can all just use 3mf type filed with lots more detail and we can end up sharing 3d files directly over ipfs with hive and creating special front ends for allowing easy payment of hive for a 3d printed item... ya know the whole system would hwve to be more vague anr all encompassing like more like a wider crowdsharing dapp for any hive nusiness so you can have rideshares or even shared kitchen resturqunts, couch surfing turned airbnb but for the developing world using hive to seperate trustworthy people from the non.
But yeah hive needs a more robust ID system with RATINGS like yelp but built into the blockchain. More than just a vague reputation score that means absolutely nothing here. We should have real ratings and reviews by users. But thatd require innovat8ng all sorta of new ways to debate people online. Left and right voting, meta coting, super voting, infra and inter voting... we need rating systems like yelp that are both 1 person 1 vote and stake based but 1p1v requires a real DID system to keeo track of people and thats a @dan larimer fantasy ... but we CAN try to make MORE stake based voting rating hive yelp type systems that have more and more chdcks and balances to appease anyone claiming it just ends up with might makes right etc. Whoever buys all the hivepower can steer the agenda right? So we need some sort or seniority time based wisdom tokens or i dunno. We need other ways to prove when grouos have inter grouo loyalty ...measuring ut objectivly withiut relying in marxist labor theory of value... but still extracting whatwver real value there is from a closed knit community online.
Ok what am i talking about? Lets start with Hive Yelp
Just run this thought experiment: imagine a hive yelp with ratings etc (steem already may have done that actually) how do you keep it fair and not ending up with just showing 5 stars for everything the top hive whales like and 1 star for everything the top hive whales hate, regardless of the "real" reviews.. how do you even define which review is more Real than another? Were back to square one with dan larimer and ned scott and steem vs eos and voice and all that which never came to fruition which leads me to believe this IS a challenge worth attempting... to create a more perfect more fair ACCOUNT SYSTEM for social media... beyond just up and down votes.. because accounts can be faked... and thats why they made steemit right?
we want nothing more than a Fair verwion of Teddit whatever that ends up looking like. @ned and @dan clearly both stated/agreed in a youtube interview from 2016 that they simply tried to make a "blockchain reddit" ... and of course adding "blockchain" doesnt solve all yoir problems... thats why we neee to keep fleshing this stuff out and make i dunno hackathons to try and like... pretend ypu have 100 clones of dan larimer and do all the ideas that were thrown around when steemit first came out.
Lets explore wvery possible steemit alterbative or fork or steem with different reward curves and rules etc...thats kinda what golos and blurt and hive are but we need a way to make good on the promise that communities would hqve smts that each had their own different rules for token distribution so eventually we coukd find the peefect one...the bitcoin supply sweet spot goldilocks zone but for social media token fistribution WHICH would also end up creating like the peefect form of socialism in a way hahaha if you looked at it in that simplenpf a mind set. Altho a national government adooting a steem or hive blockchain WOULD create decades of prosperity, it woule eventually create a lot of really crazy problems we saw on early steemit that would just be made mych worse.
