I don't play that often - it's not much fun since I usually lose - but today I had a few minutes and decided to give it another try. Wild, so I can use all of the few cards that I own.
A 15 mana match? Meh. I usually do better when I can pick a lot of expensive cards, but I'm not one to give up, so...
I randomly selected General Sloan as the Summoner, for no real reason at all. So did my opponent.
That left me with 11 mana. The first card that caught my attention was Shield Bearer for 8 mana. It has Taunt, making the opponent target it if they can. I'm not sure what would prevent them, or in what order all those abilities and things are counted. Does the opponent's "target the weakest monster" have precedence over my "target this monster" for example, or does it go by speed?
Anyway, that left me with 3 mana and I didn't have anything at that cost, so I threw in a 2 mana Xenith Archer since my General Sloan would give it +1 in ranged.
With 1 mana left and nothing to spend it on, (or maybe I did have something, I forgot to check the magic damage cards) I hit the Battle button... and won!
The proof is on the blockchain! Or at least somewhere in the splinterlands databases...

I am as surprised as the rest of you, since I expected yet another loss.
