Nuevamente estamos por aquí con un tutorial de maquillaje, ésta vez como se trata del primer tutorial del año, decidí comenzar con un look bastante llamativo por lo que me animé a realizarme un cut crease en los tonos fucsia, naranja y amarillo, y digo que me aventure porque la verdad es que para mi tipo de ojo (encapotado), la tecnica de cut crease se debe hacer con mucha paciencia y dedicación, porque puede llegar a verse mal si no se sabe hacer (algo que ya me ha pasado), pero como se trata de un año nuevo, hay que experimentar looks nuevos dentro del maquillaje, así que sin mas vamos a comenzar.

Once again we are here with a makeup tutorial, this time as it is the first tutorial of the year, I decided to start with a pretty striking look so I decided to do a cut crease in fuchsia, orange and yellow tones, and I say that I ventured because the truth is that for my type of eye (hooded eye), the cut crease technique must be done with patience and dedication, because it can look bad if you don't know how to do it (something that has already happened to me), but as it's a new year, you have to experiment new looks within the make-up, so without further ado let's start.

🧡 COMENCEMOS CON EL LOOK || LET'S START WITH THE LOOK 💋

Si han visto alguno de mis maquillajes, saben que a mi siempre me gusta comenzar por lo ojos, se me hace mucho más fácil trabajar de ésta forma y aparte minimizo los errores que puedan existir. Por ésta razón, luego de preparar mi piel aplico corrector en todo el párpado, hay personas que luego de esto sellan con polvo, sin embargo a mi me gusta más bien sellar con las sombras que vaya a utilizar, de ésta forma se potencia su pigmentación y la duración de las mismas.

If you have seen any of my make-up looks, you know that I always like to start with the eyes, it is much easier for me to work this way and I also minimise any mistakes that may exist. For this reason, after preparing my skin I apply concealer all over the eyelid, some people seal with powder after this, however I like to seal with the shadows I am going to use, this way it enhances their pigmentation and the duration of them.

Una de las bases para que un cut crease quede bien en un ojo encapotado es dibujar la línea del corte siempre mirando al frente, recordemos que ésta línea la mayoría de las veces se guía por el pliegue de la cuenca del ojo, pero para un ojo encapotado ésta línea hay que dibujarla por encima, para simular que nuestro pliegue natural está más arriba. Por ésta razón, para ésta oportunidad decidí dibujar con lápiz blanco toda la estructura de mi cut crease, y justo donde se encuentra el lápiz blanco fui añadiendo a toquesitos la sombra fucsia desde el lagrimal hasta la mitad del ojo, y la sombra naranja en todo el resto.

One of the basics for a cut crease to look good on a hooded eye is to draw the cut line always looking to the front, remember that this line most of the time is guided by the crease of the eye socket, but for a hooded eye this line has to be drawn above, to simulate that our natural crease is higher. For this reason, for this opportunity I decided to draw with white pencil the whole structure of my cut crease, and just where the white pencil is I added a touch of fuchsia shadow from the tear trough to the middle of the eye, and the orange shadow on the rest of the eye.

Estas sombras las fui difuminando con la misma brocha que las iba aplicando, en la parte superior apliqué una sombra amarilla y con mucha paciencia terminé de integrar todas las sombras. Sin embargo, el objetivo no es que las sombras fucsia y naranja desaparezcan, por lo que volví a intensificar su color.

I blended these shadows with the same brush as I was applying them, applied a yellow shadow on the top and with a lot of patience I finished integrating all the shadows. However, the aim is not to make the fuchsia and orange shadows disappear, so I intensified their colour again.

Con corrector limpié toda la zona interna del maquillaje y ésto lo selle con una sombra satinada e iluminador. Si hay que rectificar algo de las sombras fucsia y naranja, se va haciendo con paciencia. De aquí me pasé al rostro para aplicar base y corrector.

With concealer I cleaned the whole inner area of the make-up and sealed it with a satin shadow and highlighter. If any of the fuchsia and orange shadows need to be corrected, it can be done with patience. From here I moved on to the face to apply foundation and concealer.

Luego hice el contorno de mi cara y maquille mis cejas. En la parte inferior del ojo aplique sombra naranja en la parte más externa, luego sombra fucsia y justo en el lagrimal sombra amarilla, de ésta forma el cut crease quedó completamente cerrado. Después selle todo el rostro con polvo.

Then I did the contour of my face and made up my eyebrows. On the lower part of the eye I applied orange shadow on the outermost part, then fuchsia shadow and just on the tear trough yellow shadow, this way the cut crease was completely closed. Then I sealed the whole face with powder.

Aplique bronzer, rubor e iluminador para terminar de dar dimensión y color a mi rostro, y luego delinee con lápiz negro las lineas de agua de mi ojo y acentúe un poco el lagrimal. Finalmente apliqué rímel, pestañas posting y un labial nude.

I applied bronzer, blush and highlighter to finish giving dimension and colour to my face, and then I lined the water lines of my eye with a black pencil and accentuated my tear trough. Finally I applied mascara, eyelashes posting and a nude lipstick.

¡Y éste es el resultado!, definitivamente llamativo sí quedó y con el truco de dibujar primero con lápiz toda la estructura, se me hizo muchísimo más fácil realizar todo el look, siento que aún me falta practicar un poco más ésta técnica de maquillaje, pero de momento el resultado me dejó super satisfecha, aparte que los tonos cálidos siempre serán de mis favoritos y a todo ésto añadimos que estoy estrenando fondo 🤣🎉, pinte mi cuarto hace unas semanas y me hacía ilusión estrenar mi pared como fondo para los maquillajes 🤭🤭, así que todo en éste look es un sí para mi 💕, y espero que a ustedes también les guste 😉.

And this is the result!, it was definitely eye-catching and with the trick of drawing the whole structure with pencil first, it made it much easier to do the whole look, i feel that i still need to practice a bit more this makeup technique, but for the moment the result left me super satisfied, besides warm tones will always be one of my favourites and to all this we add that I'm using my wallpaper for the first time 🤣🎉, I painted my room a few weeks ago and I was excited to use my wall as a background for the make-up 🤭🤭, so everything in this look is a yes for me 💕, and I hope you like it too 😉.
