Todos en la vida tenemos algo que nos apasiona, algo que nos hace sentir bien, nos motiva y nos hace mejorar en muchos aspectos, en mi caso es el maquillaje, para mí realizarme un maquillaje es algo que me ayuda a distraerme, algo que me gusta y una forma de expresión. No nacimos aprendidos, con el paso del tiempo vamos aprendiendo y perfeccionando muchas cosas, por ejemplo, a mí siempre me ha encantado maquillarme, el maquillaje simplemente te hace resaltar tu belleza y es algo que obviamente me gusta mucho; cuando comencé a maquillarme no lo hacía bien, aún recuerdo cómo quedaban mis cejas y lo que hago es reírme pero no como burla sino con orgullo porque se que lo que he aprendido hasta ahora me ha ayudado a mejorar como artista del maquillaje.
We all have something in life that we are passionate about, something that makes us feel good, motivates us and makes us improve in many aspects, in my case it is makeup, for me doing makeup is something that helps me to distract myself, something I like and a form of expression. We are not born learned, with the passage of time we learn and perfect many things, for example, I have always loved doing my makeup, makeup simply makes you highlight your beauty and it is something that I obviously like very much; when I started doing my makeup I did not do it well, I still remember how my eyebrows looked and what I do is laugh but not as a joke but with pride because I know that what I have learned so far has helped me to improve as a makeup artist.
Muchas personas tienen la creencia que el arte de maquillaje es algo fácil que no requiere de técnicas, esfuerzo o de algún conocimiento, y realmente están muy equivocados, realizar un maquillaje lleva un proceso de pre y post producción, buscar una idea principal donde puedes pasar horas viendo, luego ir maquillando y tomando las fotos o videos de todo el proceso, buscar un atuendo que complemente el look, peinarse, tomar las fotografía con todo el material adecuado (aro de luz, cámara, etc), y luego seleccionar las mejores fotos para editar y así redactar el post, ¿Suena sencillo?
Many people have the belief that the art of makeup is something easy that does not require techniques, effort or any knowledge, and really are very wrong, make a makeup takes a process of pre and post production, find a main idea where you can spend hours watching, then go making up and taking pictures or videos of the whole process, find an outfit that complements the look, combing, take pictures with all the right material (light ring, camera, etc), and then select the best photos to edit and write the post, Does it sound simple?
Bueno a muchos les parecerá fácil y dirán ¿te quejas de eso? Y NO, no me estoy quejando de todo el proceso porque realmente lo disfruto, yo amo maquillarme y poder mostrar lo que hago, poder generar ingresos con lo que me apasiona lo hace más gratificante... me estoy quejando de las personas que menosprecian mi trabajo y el de mis compañeras, dónde cada una se esfuerza cada día por realizar un trabajo espectacular y es injusto que vengan personas a desmeritar su trabajo.
Well to many people it will seem easy and they will say, are you complaining about that? And NO, I am not complaining about the whole process because I really enjoy it, I love doing makeup and being able to show what I do, being able to generate income with what I am passionate about makes it more rewarding... I am complaining about people who belittle my work and that of my colleagues, where each one strives every day to do a spectacular job and it is unfair that people come to belittle their work.
Hoy todas somos una sola voz, unidas y fuertes, alzamos la voz para que nos vean y nos lean, demostrando nuestra protesta con lo que mejor sabemos hacer que es maquillarnos. Somos artistas, y cada trabajo de maquillaje conlleva esfuerzo, dedicación, amor y disciplina, muchas veces no dan ganas de maquillarse por desmotivación o porque simplemente necesitas descansar el rostro, y eso está muy bien. En esta comunidad de #MakeupPower he conocido a chicas realmente talentosas, son simplemente maravillosas, cómo expresan tanto con el arte del maquillaje es algo de verdad digno de admirar, por eso mismo todos deberían dar crédito a todo el esfuerzo y dedicación que se le da a cada publicación que se hace. Cada una tienen su estilo, es algo auténtico y se nota mucho el estilo personal de cada chica de la comunidad, por eso mismo admiro a cada una de ellas.
Today we are all one voice, united and strong, we raise our voices to be seen and read, demonstrating our protest with what we do best, which is makeup. We are artists, and every makeup job takes effort, dedication, love and discipline, many times you don't feel like doing makeup because of lack of motivation or because you just need to rest your face, and that's fine. In this #MakeupPower community I have met really talented girls, they are simply wonderful, how they express so much with makeup artistry is something truly worthy of admiration, that's why everyone should give credit to all the effort and dedication that is given to each publication that is made. Each one of them has their own style, it's something authentic and the personal style of each girl in the community is very noticeable, that's why I admire each one of them.
Por eso mismo alzamos la voz todas, porque se han presentado injusticias a nuestra comunidad de maquillaje, desmeritando nuestro trabajo como si no nos esforzaramos. Los invito a ver el proceso de cada Maquilladora y puedan observar todo lo que conlleva realizar hasta un maquillaje sencillo que puedes tomar 1 hora hasta un maquillaje más elaborado que puedo tomar más de 5 horas. Sin más que decir, me despido pero no sin antes desearle mucho éxitos a todos!!
That is why we all raise our voices, because injustices have been presented to our makeup community, belittling our work as if we did not make an effort.
