Today is April 12, the scheduled judging period for the MemeHive Theme Curation Contest announced a week ago. To achieve this, I used both the Meme Tribe Community on PeakD and the MemeHive frontend.
The process of judging isn't easy for several reasons.
First, in checking the relevant posts on the PeakD community, I can only see a very few articles published there.
Second, on the MemeHive frontend, selecting the entries is very challenging because a lot of communities are using the hashtag #meme. Communities like Actifit, Cent, Lolz Project, InLeo, DaGamers, AiArt, PhotographyLovers, and even Gold, Political, and Ladies of Hive communities are using the hashtag to earn the token. I think we like such token distribution to diverse communities on Hive. However, to continue this MemeHive Theme Curation Contest, I think another criterion must be added. The entry must not only use the hashtag #meme, but the article must be published on the MemeHive community, either on PeakD, other blogging apps on Hive, or the MemeHive frontend itself. In this case, the selection process will be smoother and easier, not unless, of course, @greywarden100 could find another volunteer to do the judging process.
Moreover, there are three other considerations to clarify the result of the judging process.
One, obviously, since @greywarden100 is the rewarder, he is not included in this contest.
Two, my two brothers are also not included. Their posts serve more as a template for what type of content I am looking for in a meme post:
If you will check the MemeHive Theme Curation Contest announcement, you will see that the criteria includes a relevant image that is properly credited and a minimum 50-word explanation.
Last but not least, there are articles that can be seen on the MemeHive frontend that utilize the hashtag #meme that are long and can be considered quality content. Examples of these are articles written by @babygirl888 about challenging popular statements and by @rishagamo about the tax abuses of government officials in Nigeria. Though these articles are good, they cannot be qualified as meme posts. They are more suitable to be rewarded in other curation contests. But of course, they are still free to use the #meme hashtag to receive content creation rewards.
Now that I hope everything is clear, I just want to list the articles that qualify for this contest:
