When we walk, especially in tourist places, we often look for only some beautiful motifs, and in the less beautiful ones we like to look away. It is sad to see that often buildings in beautiful urban locations are abandoned or simply ruined.
Here is a fine example of such a building. It used to be a beautiful tourist facility 30 years, but since then it is one of the sad stories in the town of Novigrad in Croatian Istria. The building is located in the immediate center of the city, near the fishing marina and the old town.
As far as I know, this real estate is today property of one of Croatian banks, which acquired this property in the bankruptcy proceedings of the bankrupt company, but they don’t seem to have a concrete plan of what they will do with this property now.
