The rain had stopped when I woke. I hope it won't rain today and it didn't. Or it would have been even worst for polling day. Yes, today we cast our votes.

当我醒来时雨已经停了。我希望今天不会下雨。确实没有。要不然，去排队投票就不是简单任务了。是的，今天我们投票日。

I drove my parents in law and drop them off at their polling station. The queue already came until outside.

我开车送岳父母去投票站。人已经排队到外面。

Before I drove away, the queue extended. On different social media, people were complaining the queue was too long. See? Lucky it didn't rain on you guys.

把车开走之前，更多人来排队了。在不同的社交媒体，有人抱怨排队等很久。是不是幸运没有下雨淋你们？

My parents in law casted the votes and I drove them home but decided to go back and busybody. Whoa, the queue got worst.

我的岳父母投票后，我开车送他们回家，但决定回去投票站管闲事。哇，队列更加长了。

The queue went passed the next building which is the Indian temple.

队列伸展到下一个建筑物。那是印度寺庙。

It extended further until the outside of the polyclinic. If anyone fainted, no chance of getting a doctor at the clinic because it's closed today.

列队还延长到诊疗所的外面。如果有人晕倒，别想到诊所找医生，因为今天没开。

I guessed if it extended further into the bus stop, some people can take a seat.😎

我猜想，如果再排得远一点到车站，有些人可以在那里坐下。😎

At the polling station, you were supposed to use the hand sanitizer there and they provided gloves as well as a self-inking pen for marking your voting slip. There were some story about the pen but they said you can bring your own pen. Then things changed. Before my wife and I went to our polling station, they said you don't have to use the gloves. So, all gloves are off for this election. 😎 Our polling station was at the basement 1 of HDB Hub which means you cannot rain on me when I was queuing there.

We are not allowed to take photo there so I quickly cast my vote, use the hand sanitizer and got out.

Decided to go to the food court on the same level to get out by the escalator there. This young lady is amused by the tray collecting robot.

Looking at this long queue of people for the rojak, I shake my hand and thought, "yes, 2nd wave."

看着这么多人排长龙就摇头想真的会第二波。

My wife said she had 2 free bubble tea for her birthday month. So, we risk our lives for the bubble tea.

太太说，她有2个免费泡泡茶因为她的生日月份。所以，我们冒险领取泡泡茶。

I decided to go for the expensive grapefruit bubble tea.

我决定要昂贵的柚子泡泡茶。

This was how much it would have cost.

I bought a yam bun to have it with the bubble tea with yam (taro) ball. It's just yam, yam and me but no Yam Ah Mee as the returning officer this time. Now, we wait for the results. By the way, more things changed along the way. The voting time had been extended by 2 hours to 10pm. So, don't expect the result so soon.
