Dear Tolkien fans on Hive,
This is the place where I share the book I am reading to the Hive CN community and today the book I am gonna share is "The Hobbit" which is first published in 1937 and is among the best seller books of all time. As many of you should know that this book is J.R.R. Tolkien's classic prelude to his Lord of the Rings trilogy and the story in this series has already been turned into movies. Actually I have never read any of the above books before this one, but I have watched all three movies of Lord of the Rings, so the plots and characters in this book feel very familiar to me.
I am not gonna talk about the book to English readers here. Rather, after I finished "The Hobbit", I have just started to read "The Fellowship of the Ring". Last night when I opened the book and stared reading, not far from the beginning the book says that Bilbo Baggins, the main character of the "The Hobbit", shares the same birthday with his adopted son Frodo Baggins and the day happens to be September 22. Yes, today.
That's why I wrote these paragraphs - to celebrate Bilbo and Frodo Baggins' birthday! What a coincidence! For me as a reader too! And when I go on twitter, I found out that there is actually a hashtag for it! #HobbitDay2022 🎂🎉

The Tolkien fans and Hobbit fans are happily celebrating this special day created by story wizard Tolkien! I am fascinated by the Hobbit story and I am sure the following three books will be just as great or even better! Besides, I really love the character of Hobbits, how they love peace, art and food and everything. So count me in as Hobbit fans!! 😚

今天分享的閱讀經驗比較特別一點喔！應該大家都看過魔戒相關系列電影吧！？電影太紅了。托爾金的魔戒系列書，可說是世界奇幻文學的經典名著了，算是哈利波特更早的老前輩，引領西方幾代人對於奇幻文學的想像與創作，更在全球都有極大的影響力。
我跟大家一樣，電影都看過了（看過魔戒系列三部，但哈比人系列則還沒看過），但書，就，嘿嘿，懶得看。畢竟故事都知道了，就有點不想看書了。
那為什麼我會開始看【哈比人歷險記】這本書呢？因為，要先幫兒子看看這一本會不會太暴力什麼的，不適合他看。所以是因為當爸的責任所導致。不過，看歷險故事，我向來也不是太排斥。更何況，前傳的系列我可是連故事都不知道呢！
我們就先來簡單分享一下這一本精彩萬分的【哈比人歷險記】吧！
【書名】【哈比人歷險記】（The Hobbit），1937年出版，作者：J. R. R. Tolkien，譯者：朱學恆
故事主調很簡單，主角是比爾博哈金斯，是與世無爭的哈比人中，一位比較喜歡冒險的人物，因為灰袍巫師甘道夫的關係，跟13為矮人族戰士，一起踏上了前往孤山戰惡龍復仇奪寶的故事。一路上，靠著哈比人的好運與機靈，他們歷經許多驚險，遭遇許多惡意，結交不少盟友，終於到達矮人祖所先建立，但後來被噴火惡龍所霸佔的山中宮殿，想當然爾，幾經波折，惡龍被殺，探險隊卻開始面臨各方前來覬覦大量寶物的人馬...
就說到這吧！故事的精采在於那一路上的遭遇，那些奇異多變的地形萬物，那些詭譎變化的善惡生物們，結合探險隊個成員，所交織的一次次精彩遭遇．．．
對了，因為這一本是最早出版的，後來才從這一本衍生出魔戒的故事，所以這裡面並不是把魔戒當主要對象。不過，魔戒在這本書中，只是被描述成戴上去可以隱形的戒子，是比爾博意外從洞穴神祕生物咕嚕手中得到的。真正摩戒的故事，是之後的書才會開始，在時序上，這本書裡的情節是在魔戒故事的60年前左右的。
我利用晚上有空的時間翻看，也只花了一周多，就忍不住快速看完了。真的是名不虛傳的經典，即是出版時間距今已經都快百年，仍然不影響閱讀的樂趣！
今天比較特別的地方在於...
昨晚我看完這本書，由於魔戒第一本書就在旁邊，於是我忍不住就繼續拿起來看下去。前面開始交代，比爾博（【哈比人歷險記】主角），跟佛羅多（魔戒系列主角）的關係，基本上就是親戚，但後來比爾博收佛羅多為養子，把自己冒險得來的寶物都要傳給佛羅多。
包括魔戒💍。😲
然後我看到一段描述，說比爾博跟佛羅多還有一個共同點，就是同一天生日。那一天就是9月22日。就是今天啊！！！
所以，我才決定在今天分享這一本書，同時藉機祝賀一下托爾金筆下這一對震古鑠今的哈比人，比爾博跟佛羅多，祝他們生日快樂！！！🎂🎉🥂👏
