Boating and Enjoying Fish Dishes at Blausee

Following on from Lake Geneva, I'll continue showing you the stunning lakes of Switzerland. This time is all about Blausee, which translates to "Blue Lake," and you can see why from my photos. The blueish color is caused by the minerals found in its water.

Blausee is located in the midst of a large nature park in the Bernese Oberland's Kander Valley. The mountain lake is formed by a rock slide, and its crystal-clear water has its source in subterranean springs.

It is a popular tourist destination, and for good reason. We stayed there the entire day and had a great time. Just strolling along the lake and photographing the scenery and trout took me hours already. :)

While gliding across the lake in the boat, the boatman told us that he chose to come here to work after retiring. He enjoyed rowing around the lake, taking in the gorgeous views of different seasons and telling visitors about local legends and flora and fauna. He also liked hearing about other people's lives. This is a fantastic option for retirement I believe.

Aside from fishing and boating on the beautiful lake, you can also do activities like bbqing, picnicking, visiting the trout farm, enjoying a trout meal, hiking the trails through the surrounding forests and mountains...

For those who want to stay longer to fully appreciate the natural beauty, Blausee has a hotel, a spa and a campground, as well as several cozy-looking cabins and chalets.

来继续瑞士的湖。瑞士以湖光山色著称，大大小小的湖泊有一千多个。我只去过其中十几个，都是美哭的节奏。去年发了些蓝湖的鳟鱼，这次再来看看那里的湖景和鱼餐。

蓝湖位于伯尔尼高地区的康德尔山谷，以清澈幽蓝的湖水而闻名，蓝色来自水中的矿物质。因为很有名，先前听说过几次，有点害怕人潮，后来路过那里决定去看看，结果确实名不虚传。很庆幸还是去了，风景真的超赞。

This woman statue in the lake was created by artist and sculptor Raffael Fuchs, in memory of a local legend. It's said that a pretty girl was discovered dead in this lake many years ago. This was the place where she used to spend time with her lover. She returned to the Blue Lake every night after the man's sudden death until she died of grief. Her tears caused the lake water's blueness. Such a heartbreakingly beautiful tale...

湖底有一尊根据当地传说创造的雕像，说是很久以前有位美女常常在此和伴侣约会，后来男人突然去世，她每晚在此痛哭直至死去，眼泪染蓝了湖水。真是个悲伤动人的故事TT。
