To be honest, I'm so sick and tired of being a PTA board member!
It's not that I don't like the activities themselves, but I am often bothered by the interactions with other board members, and it's exhausting.
I took on a board position this year. It is a rule that we all have to serve on the board at least once during our six years of elementary school, and the higher the grade, the harder the job tends to be. I heard that the 6th grade board is especially burdensome, including work related to the graduation ceremony, so I decided to take on the board last year and this year as well.
I think the other board members probably think the same way. No one (probably) wants to be a board member willingly.
So I understand how they feel, but I hope that since they have accepted the position, they will do it properly. In recent years, most of the communication among PTA officers has been through group LINE, but there are a few people who don't respond to the leader's call.
If it is just a message, there may be no need to reply. But when asked for their opinions, when asked to check documents, or when asked whether they will attend or not attend a meeting, there are people who do not reply to messages at all.
If they don't want to do PTA work that badly, they should never have accepted the PTA board position in the first place. If they became a board member just to keep a history of being a board member, that would be very annoying.
I am not going to say anything to them about this issue because I don't want to get into trouble. I will do my job properly for the next six months until my term expires and try to get away with it for the next two years.

今日は愚痴になります。
PTA役員の活動が億劫でたまりません！活動そのものがイヤだというわけではなくて、他の役員とのやりとりにモヤモヤすることが多く、疲れてしまうのです。
私は今年、ある役員を引き受けました。小学校6年間の間に一度は役員を引き受けなければならない決まりになっており、高学年になるほど仕事が大変になる傾向があります。特に6年生の役員は卒業式関連の仕事も含め負担が大きいと聞いていたため、それならば早めに引き受けておこうということで、去年・今年と役員を引き受けることにしたのです。2年やれば、充分ですよね・・・？
おそらく、他の役員も同じような考えだと思います。進んで役員をやりたい人は（おそらく）いない。
だから気持ちは分かるけど、引き受けたからにはちゃんとやって欲しいなと思うのです。近年はPTA役員間でのやりとりもほぼグループLINEですが、リーダーの呼びかけにうんともすんとも反応しない人がチラホラ。
ただの連絡なら返信は不要かもしれませんが、意見を求められても、書類のチェックを依頼されても、会議の出欠可否を問われても、無言を貫く人たちがいる。
役員になっておいて全く仕事をしないというのは、同じ役員にはかなり迷惑です。そこまで強い意志で仕事を受けないのであれば、そもそも同じくらい強い意志で、6年間役員を引き受けないでいてくれた方がよかったのに…。
こんな話をHIVEに書いたところでかなりどうしようもないのですが（笑）波風たてるのもいやなので、何か言うつもりはありません。あと半年、任期満了までちゃんと仕事をして、その後2年は全力で逃げ切ろうと思います。
