Well damn, it's Thursday already, and I can't for the life of me figure out where the whole week went. I actually didn't remember the day of the week, so I had to confirm by checking my calendar, and yup, it is Thursday. Where's the time running to?
They say time flies when you're having fun, but they didn't tell me it also flies when you're miserable. In other parts of the World, the lockdown is being relaxed and normalcy is slowly returning, but in Nigeria, not so much. Yesterday, I witnessed POLICE officers steal items from a shop that sells household appliances and I felt so powerless because those dirty fuckers had guns; I guess some things never change.
This isn't a rant about Nigeria, but if you follow the #nigeria tag or check the Hive Naija you'd find a few. I can't wrap my head around why the days are going so fast, because, for the most part, it feels like we're rushing into the oblivion.
Now that I think about it, I think the reason why it seems this way is because of the games I've been playing lately. Around the start of all this Corona nonsense, I got into @splinterlands through an invite I got on twitter, and then a few weeks ago, a friend of mine installed GTA V, and Blur into my laptop, so that has helped me stem the time.
I'll probably review one of those game if I have the time to, or maybe not, I don't even know what I want to do. Well, that's my life these days; I hope you're having a better time than I am.
