Oh behold the Nigeria of our dreams, a nation full of amazing potentials, a people so blessed with intellectual capacities, a land so gifted and the joy of the African nations, we were design to be a feeder to Africa but toady the thing we had greatly fear has come on us.
I wish it was not told by me but its bleeds my heart, and i want us to rise to the fate of our greatness, yes if we can only remember from what point we failed, we can change the narratives in a seconds. once and again, the national anthem, drew my attention again, as it is stated, that the labor of our heroes past shall never be in vein but just in our very before, the labors of our own heroes past, is dyeing off and no one seems to ask.
This few areas in our country, got my heart, and i will be glad to share with you, some important stuffs that we can work on as individual, as a group and as a family.
Behold the nature of our public school
What we came to see, were the blood of great generals, the price that were paid by strangers to help the generation yet unborn, oh how did we allow it.
many of our great leaders are and were a product of this public primary and secondary schools and they had the best that could be gotten any were in the world but today, it is made to be a home for the poor and some have been made a playground for animals,
It disturbs my heart, when i got to know that many of those schools were established and maintained by missionaries but now when it became our own thing we treat it as a subject of no concern.
How do i know this, years ago when i was i the public primary school we were competing with fellow pupils from privates school but now it is not possible, because all the now do like in my place is farm work, the teachers go to the school when the like and return home as the want, but you can not find this in the private schools,
Comparing the private and public Teachers salary
You will also do agree with me that the public teachers are better paid than the private school teachers. Over here, private school owners do not look for NCE holders but minimum of BSC, you will see a degree holder receiving #25,ooo as monthly salary when an NCE holder in the public school is receiving twice that amount
but yet the private school teacher gives more attention the work even when he/she receives a penny but the public school teachers have turn the pupils and student into an agricultural machinery.
i believe something is wrong and we have to arise and be on the move to bring back the glory of our public schools.
If all i think about is myself, then how will we grow
Thank God for our leaders who are well to do in life, living large with the resources that was meant for all, pilling up wealth just for their immediate family, it is Good that the wealthy children are going to well structured and high standard private schools within and outside the shores of our nation, but what is the hope of masses, few weeks ago i decided to engage a public school pupil in a conversation, i started it but could not continue because she could not even express herself and because i could not speak her dialed, it was a hard thing.
Many of the private school owners are public school teachers, they do all it takes to make their own good except the governments own. The government recently have also helped to advertised the private school while the abandoned the public schools, Now the standard by which one must set up a private school to gain approval is so high, thereby making the private schools set up facilities that can not be found in the public schools. that leaves me with a question, whose child will prefer not to go to a good studying environment?
Once again, i want to thank you for always doing your best to be true, i want to tell you that it pays, even if you have not seen the effect yet but hold unto it, stay focused and be the change you want to see. please feel free to drop your comment, and also make your support available.
GOD BLESS YOU
