Life itself is full of lessons, you either learn the positive ones or the negative ones, its your choice to maximize every opportunity you've got.
It was a sunny day when our emancipation team in church decided to visit the city of Port Harcourt to spread the gospel of Christ. I already pictured it was going to he an adventurous one, so apart from being eager to spread the gospel of Christ I also planned to use this opportunity to explore the city if Port Harcourt since I have never been there before all My life.
The journey was smooth, and I was grateful that there was no trace of casualty recorded amongst us.
On reaching there we offloaded our bags, took a shower and prepared for the evening service, after the evening service we all retired to our bed.
The next morning was all Bright and beautiful, there was actually no morning session so we had the opportunity to stroll road the environ we found ourselves.
One of the places we visited was the Port Harcourt Sea port.
It was indeed a nice experience, the villagers were just staring at us, while we walked down the road, they must have been imagining who we were, but well I am happy the never restricted our movement.
Afar of from the Water side it was already getting cold, so on reaching the Sea port in was very careful not to go close to the water least I fall off into it or perhaps out of fear allow my phone fall into it.
Well I am an adventurous person and I love taking pictures so much ranging from pictures of myself to pictures of my surrounding, that's nature of etc. So that faithful was not an exception. I pulled out my phone ana took many pictures as possibleπππππππππππππ
Although I was a bit skeptical about taking the pictures least my phone falls off into the river but something was happened, yeah, well don't panic its not something really bad though. One of my church member was actually taking pictures of the water side when the police or should I say Soldier that guarded the water body called on her and asked her what pictures she was taking immediately all of us had to maintain oo, became we didn't want the Soldier to use us and shine by asking us for any money oo before we could he permitted to snap, trust our nigga na anything is possibleπππππ.
So we just kukuma pipe low until the girl explained to him who we were and why were were there at that point in time before we pulled out our phones again to snap. The soldiers concern was for him to know our mission ana it was clearly stated for him.
The water was a wonderful sight to behold, but like i said I was so careful going close to it, because I been no wan hear say dem shoot bird monkey come flyπππ.
I watched people dress nearly but yet use the boat because it was their only means of transportation st the part we went to.
Some people that were buoyant enough chattered one boat just they themselves in the boat, exactly how someone would have chattered keke or taxi.
The children were not even scared to enter the boat maybe perhaps they were use to it from birth. One thing I loved was that life jacket was provided for everyone, least a causality occurred. Yes talking of casualty one of the boat got stocked up in the middle of the water because the engine was faulty so immediately another boat was sent to help it, when this happened see as my blood ran fast, I would have even fainted, but thank God sha I been no faintπππππ.
One spectacular thing I took note of was the fact that all the boat used one route and when I asked why the said the other places in the water may be dangerous and people may loose their life's so that is why there had to be a demarcation to help each of the drivers of the boat.
Another thing I noticed was that people made earns meet from loading the boat and also driving people, exactly how it happens in land transportation.
I could go and on but let me stop here, but just so you know it was a wonderful experience I would never ever forget in an hurry.
I remain
glotokens.
Thanks for stopping by.
Much loveππππ
