On the 20th October 2020 Nigeria youths holding the National flag seated on the floor and singing the national anthem were attacked and killed in cold blood by the same government that promised them a bright future. Their only crime was asking for a better government.
We live in a country were political leaders intimidate the people to believe asking questions in a punishable offence. You can only sing their praise. Dj Switch was made a fugitive in her own country for daring to speak up on what she witnessed that day.
Now that the report is out we will love to see if crime is still punishable in Nigeria. To add pains to injury they lied and lied and tried to cover it up by using tax payer money to remove evidence and more but thank God it didn't work.
My condolences to the families those who lost their lives or sustained injury on that fateful day. These are the real heros of my country, we won't forget you.
Also I want commend the Independent panel for this report and staying strong to it purpose without fear or favour. It's high time we start having some truth in this country.
Never should this be allowed to happen again in this country.
Meanwhile It is very pathetic that some people couldn't wait for the panel report but decided irrationally insensitive and inhumane supporters of this present government to instigate that no one died at Lekki toll gate and that it was so all staged. My prayer for you and like minds is that your relatives never get murdered in cold blood and everybody else think it's a facade.
