The federal Government banned twitter in Nigeria after the president tweet was deleted,and now Nigerians have been forced to make use of the VPN so as to gain access to using Twitter.
There was an endzarzprotest last year October 20 with many Nigerians losing their lives ,at the Lekki toll gate ,there was just bloodshed everywhere.
Recently ,there was a news that says any Nigerian found using Twitter will be prosecuted, Doesn't this sounds weird? just because of one person we are not allowed to use twitter any longer.They don't even consider we the citizens,they just keep on violating our rights. This really hurts.
What followed was a ban on crypto in Nigeria.The excuse given was that Bitcoin was ruining the country's economy .But here is what I think :they did all these just for their own selfish reasons.
The value of Naira just keeps on devaluating One dollar now equals 502 naira they couldn't find solution to this, instead they are banning twitter.I just hope we as a country find a way to get out of this mess.
