Good morning all. Woke up this morning to the news of the demise of lead actor in the Black Panther movie, Chadwick Boseman. News outlets stated he died of Colon cancer. I was shocked and instantly in pain because his death felt very familiar.
I have lost an Aunt, friend and church member to cancer. Seems cancer is usually in the habit of taking our loved ones (even the strongest of them) away when we least expect it.
And so I take the death of this hero very personally. Saw a video clip earlier on Twitter, where he was talking one on one with fans with such grace and familiarity, one would think they were all his childhood friends.
He was shooting movies while battling cancer like it was nothing, speaks to his unrelenting stenght and willpower. What a man, what a warrior. He indeed fought and clawed to the end.
RIP Chadwick Boseman. We hope your legacy lives on and doesn't fade into distant memory.
Death stings again!
