Perhaps many people didn't know it, but nowadays you can make a few dollars with one of the franchises that sells the most units per year, FIFA
How did I get money from the game?
It all started two years ago, the truth is that in those days I played the game quite a lot of time dedicating many hours to the ULTIMATE TEAM mode, where you build your team using cards of current players by opening booster packs and buying in the market. The strategy was to generate as many coins as possible in the early days of the game, where almost all the cards had a very high value.I created an account on Instagram and sold the coins at a cheaper price than the main pages that are dedicated to this practice, so I had enough sales and I got in just one month of play, for those times 100 dollars.
I have also sold items in a game that I have been playing for years, Rocket League. I haven't really gotten much out of it, $20 for items that may have taken me up to a year to collect.
My trajectory in Play To Earn games begins with Rising Star, as I told previously in the post of my experiencie playing rising star - 5000 missions reached. Undoubtedly, it was the best NFT game I've played to date, I have to highlight as always its community and perseverance over time.
A few days after joining Hive, I was able to get a scholarship in the game that was all the rage at the time, Axie Infinity. Everyone was looking to get a scholarship everywhere, in my case I was very lucky to find a Facebook page that did not look so good so it might seem a little suspicious, with nothing to lose I applied for the scholarship and it turned out very well.
The scholarship holder contacted me and when I gave him some personal information, I agreed to a scholarship with 40% of the profits obtained. The equipment they gave me was very economical or as it is popularly called "tuttifrutti", it really cost me a lot to adapt the first few days, failing in the daily quota. The trainer was very patient the first days with me, which I thank him a lot, but then I compensated him with a good performance with the axies in PVP, generating more than 200 slp daily, as I told in my post of my axies as a scholarship holder and how much i generate per day.
A month passed since I started playing, I was very worried because I was not 100% sure that I was going to get paid after playing for so long. The first month I got the impressive sum of 380 dollars without having invested a dollar, of which I had 320 dollars left after deducting the high commissions that the Ethereum network has. During my three months as a scholarship holder I had generated a total of 600 dollars, a sum that I never imagined I would obtain by playing a game.
After I received my first payment as an intern at Axie, I decided to investigate more nft's game projects. I had seen numerous Youtube videos where it was said that with a game you could earn more than 1000 dollars a month, at that time I was a bit naive and I thought that it could be real that this profitability could last for a while. The game in question is Cryptoblades, people who had entered before the boom made a lot of money. In my case, I had invested 250 dollars, 70% of the capital I had at the time to invest (very bad idea).
The game consisted of having up to four characters and having them fight against other soldiers up to 5 times per day, having a higher % of winning the battle by being the opponent of an element that is weaker than your character. The commissions were high considering that you had to pay $0.45 for each battle you fought due to the Binance Smart Chain commissions.
The main problem of this game was a series of bad decisions of the game developers, they gave away the characters and encouraged the use of multi-accounts very easily by giving a bonus of in-game currency when buying the first character.
Currently, the game has tried to take many measures such as placing ads in the game, alliances with investor groups and even changed blockchain by switching to a blockchain called Heco Chain, with quite low commissions. No measure was effective to save the game from so many bad decisions taken at the beginning. The lack of communication from the developers caused the discord chats to be plagued with FUD, killing the project. After four months I ended up having a negative balance of 20 dollars.

It was the golden age of the nft's where a new game came out every week, giving many alternatives to choose and enter. Again I made the mistake of watching videos where they are paid promotions and talk about a profitability where you could get very high results. Star Miner had started to attract attention, its ORE token had risen more than 300% and showed some interesting game dynamics. I made two mistakes, not reviewing the token contracts and the movements of the devs' wallets.
A week after entering with 200$ I had recovered a sum of 50$, although strangely in those days the token was going down very fast, it turned out that the developers themselves started selling all the tokens they had, bringing the token of the game to a much lower value. It turned out to be a rugpull and I lost $150.
The last project I will talk about that I lost money on was one that I was initially doing well on. I had abandoned my scholarship when they lowered my profit percentage and the SLP was not doing well. With other projects I had made a good sum of money so I put together two Axie Infinity teams for $1300, one for me and one for a friend. The SLP since then has not stopped going down as well as the axs, so every month that passed my axies were losing value and my earnings were reduced more and more. Three months passed since I started playing with my own equipment and I made the decision to sell it when I saw that the outlook did not improve at all, I do not regret having done it, because a few days later the SLP dropped a lot. I ended up having a negative balance of 100 dollars in addition to losing three months playing every day.

I have talked about some of my worst experiences trying to earn money with NFT's, but the truth is that in all the time I have been in this Play To Earn mode, my balance is very positive.
At the same time that I entered the Cryptoblades there was also talk of another game that was having great success and I had the opportunity to enter in the early days, the so hated by many and loved by others "Plant vs Undead". I got in for a small sum of $15 as my friend @pleo1542 gave me half of what they asked for to get into the game. At first, the game was about watering the plants of the landowners and thus get the token of the game, I got a result of $ 100.
The PVU developers wanted to innovate the game system, so they allowed users with little capital to have the possibility to rent plants and gather to get their own nft in a few weeks. In this way, it took me 15 days to get my first NFT and I was able to sell it for 600 dollars, which is a lot of money considering how little I invested. Unfortunately what is very good lasts very little, a few days later the game began to enter a decline from which it has not yet recovered.
My best experience obtaining money with games, is when I bet on a game that at the time it came out few people bet on it. Nowadays it is very well known and it lasted for several months. I am talking about Cryptocars, a game where at the beginning we were allowed to get a NFT for a measly $18. After the week of the launch, the profits were very high so the token of the game began to skyrocket along with the value of the nft's. I managed to get 1000% of what I invested, but despite that I did not save myself from some mistakes I made, at that time the games that came out did not last more than a month, so I sold my nft's after the first month of play. If maybe I had kept them three more months I probably would have made 3000-4000%.
I don't want to make this post much longer, I could talk about many more games that I left with a positive balance, such as Rising Star, Splinterlands, Sunflowers Farmers, Binemon, PetGames, Eterland, among others.
I want to give you some tips according to my experience participating in more than 15 play to earn games.
- Review in detail the whitepaper of the project you intend to enter.
- In networks like Binance Smart Chain it is possible to see the wallets with the tokens of the devs, it is more advisable to enter projects where the wallets of the developers are blocked, so there is less chance of a rugpull, as happened to me with starminer.
- Do not enter projects by recommendation of youtubers without analyzing it in detail, generally the videos are usually paid promotions where the few who win are the influencers.
- It is not advisable to enter a game that has been on the rise for several days and is entering a lot of flow of people, it is likely that you will not get the ROI. Unfortunately many of the games that come out do not last more than a month and the boom they have is what ends up killing them.
- The community is an important point in a project, it is always good to enter the discord or telegram and analyze your community. A project where the FUD is constant, I probably don't have much projection.

Quizá muchas personas no lo sabían, pero en la actualidad se pueden hacer algunos dólares con una de las franquicias que venden más unidades por año, el FIFA.
¿Cómo es que obtuve dinero con el juego?
Todo empezó hace dos años, la verdad que en esos tiempos jugaba bastante tiempo al juego dedicando muchas horas a la modalidad de ULTIMATE TEAM, donde armas tu equipo mediante cartas de jugadores de la actualidad abriendo sobres y comprando en el mercado. La estrategia era generar lo máximo posible de monedas en los primeros días del juego, donde casi todas las cartas tenían un valor muy elevado.Cree una cuenta en Instagram y vendía las monedas a un precio más económico que las paginas principales que se dedican a esta practica, por lo que tuve bastantes ventas y obtuve en solo un mes de juego, por esos tiempos 100 dólares.
También he vendido objetos en un juego que llevo años jugando, Rocket League. La verdad que no le he sacado mucho rendimiento, 20 dólares por objetos que quizá me tomaron hasta un año juntar.
Mi trayectoria en los juegos Play To Earn comienza con Rising Star, como conté anteriormente en el post de mi experiencia jugando rising star - 5000 misiones alcanzadas. Sin dudas, fue el mejor juego NFT que he entrado hasta la fecha, tengo que destacar como siempre su comunidad y su perseverancia a lo largo del tiempo.
A los pocos días de entrar en Hive, pude obtener una beca en el juego que era furor en esos tiempos, Axie Infinity. Todo el mundo buscaba conseguir una beca por todos lados, en mi caso tuve mucha suerte de encontrar una pagina de Facebook que no tenia tan buen aspecto por lo que podria parecer algo sospechosa, sin nada que perder me postule para la beca y resulto muy bien.
El becador se contacto conmigo y al pasarle algunos datos personales, accedi a una beca obteniendo el 40% de las ganancias obtenidas.
El equipo que me brindaron era muy económico o como popularmente se denomina "tuttifrutti", realmente me costo bastante adaptarme los primeros dias, fallando en la cuota diaria.
El becador tuvo bastante paciencia los primeros dias conmigo lo cuál le agradezco mucho, aunque luego lo compense con un buen rendimiento con los axies en PVP llegando a generar más de 200 slp diarios, como contaba en mi post de mis axies como becado y cuánto genero diario.
Paso un mes desde que empecé a jugar, estaba muy preocupado porque no estaba al 100% seguro de que me iban a pagar luego de jugar tanto tiempo.
El primer mes obtuve la impresionante suma de 380 dólares sin haber invertido un dólar, de los cuales me quedaron 320 dólares descontando las altas comisiones que tiene la red de Ethereum.
Durante mis tres meses como becado había generado un total de 600 dólares, una suma que jamás me imaginaba que iba a obtener jugando un juego.
Luego de haber cobrado mi primer pago como becado en Axie, decidí investigar sobre más proyectos de juegos nft´s. Había visto numerosos videos de Youtube donde se hablaba que con un juego se podría ganar más de 1000 dólares mensuales, en ese momento era algo ingenuo y pensé que podría ser real que esa rentabilidad dure por un tiempo. El juego en cuestion es Cryptoblades, las personas que habian entrado antes del boom hicieron muchísimo dinero. En mi caso, había invertido 250 dólares, el 70% de capital que tenia en el momento para invertir (muy mala idea).
El juego consistía en tener hasta cuatro personajes y hacerlos luchar contra otros soldados hasta 5 veces por dia, teniendo un % mayor de ganar la batalla siendo el adversario de un elemento que sea más débil que el de tu personaje. Las comisiones eran altas, teniendo en cuenta que había que pagar $0.45 por cada batalla que se dispute debido a las comisiones de la Binance Smart Chain.
El principal problema de este juego fue una seguidilla de malas decisiones de los desarrolladores del juego, regalaron los personajes e incitaron al uso de multicuentas con mucha facilidad dando un bono de la moneda del juego al comprar el primer personaje.
En la actualidad, el juego ha intentado tomar muchas medidas como poner anuncios en el juego, alianzas con grupos de inversionistas e incluso cambiaron de blockchain cambiandose a una llamada Heco Chain, con comisiones bastantes bajas. Ninguna medida fue efectiva para salvar al juego de tantas malas decisiones tomadas al comienzo. La falta de comunicación de los desarrolladores provoco que los chats del discord estuvieran plagados de FUD, terminando de matar al proyecto. Luego de que pasaron cuatro meses he terminado teniendo un saldo negativo de 20 dólares.

Era la época dorada de los nft´s donde un juego nuevo salia cada una semana, dando muchas alternativas para escoger y entrar. Otra vez cometi el error de ver videos donde son promociones pagas y hablan de una rentabilidad donde se podían obtener altísimos resultados. Star Miner habia empezado a llamar la atención, su token ORE había subido más de 300% y mostraba algunas dinámicas en el juego que eran bastantes interesantes. Cometí dos errores, no revisar los contratos del token y los movimientos de las billeteras de los devs.
Una semana después de entrar con 200$ había recuperado una suma de 50 dólares, aunque extrañamente en esos dias el token estaba bajando muy rápido, resultó que los propios desarrolladores empezaron a vender todos los tokens que tenían, llevando el token del juego hasta un valor muy inferior. Resulto siendo un rugpull y perdí 150 dólares.
El ultimo proyecto del que hablaré en el que he perdido dinero, fue en uno que al principio me dio buenos resultados. Había abandonado mi beca cuando me bajaron el porcentaje de ganancias además de que el SLP no venia pasando un buen momento. Con otros proyectos habia hecho una buena suma de dinero por lo que me arme dos equipos de Axie Infinity por 1300 dólares, uno para mi y otro para un amigo. El SLP desde ese entonces no ha parado de bajar al igual que el axs, por lo que cada mes que pasaba mis axies perdían valor además de que mis ganancias eran reducidas cada vez más. Pasaron tres meses desde que empecé a jugar con mi propio equipo y tome la decisión de venderlo al ver que el panorama no mejoraba para nada, no me arrepiento de haberlo hecho, porque a los pocos dias el SLP bajo mucho. Termine teniendo un saldo negativo de 100 dólares además de perder tres meses jugando todos los días.

He hablado de algunas de mis peores experiencias intentando ganar dinero con NFT´s, pero la verdad es que en todo el tiempo que llevo en esta modalidad Play To Earn, mi saldo es muy positivo.
A la par que ingresaba en el Cryptoblades también se hablaba de otro juego que estaba teniendo mucho éxito y tuve la oportunidad de entrar en los primeros dias, el tan odiado por muchos y querido por otros "Plant vs Undead". Ingrese por una pequeña suma de 15 dólares ya que mi amigo @pleo1542 me regalo la mitad de lo que te pedian para ingresar en el juego. Al principio, el juego se trataba de regar las plantas de los terratenientes y así obtener el token del juego, obtuve un resultado de 100 dólares.
Los desarrolladores del PVU quisieron innovar el sistema de juego, por lo que permitieron tener a los usuarios de poco capital la posibilidad de rentar plantas y juntar para obtener su propio nft en unas semanas. De esta forma, tarde 15 dias en obtener mi primer NFT y lo pude vender por 600 dólares, es mucho dinero teniendo en cuenta lo poco que invertí. Lamentablemente lo que es muy bueno dura muy poco, a los pocos dias el juego empezó a entrar en un declive del que todavia no se recupera.
Mi mejor experiencia obteniendo dinero con juegos, es cuando aposte por un juego que en el momento que salió pocas personas apostaban por él. En la actualidad es muy reconocido y duro durante varios meses. Estoy hablando del Cryptocars, un juego donde al principio nos permitían obtener un NFT por una mísera cantidad de 18 dólares. Luego de la semana del lanzamiento, las ganancias eran muy altas por lo que el token del juego se empezó a disparar junto al valor de los nft´s. Logre obtener un 1000% de lo que invertí, pero a pesar de eso no me salve de algunos errores que cometí, en ese momento los juegos que salían no duraban más de un mes, por lo que vendi mis nft´s al primer mes de juego. Si quizá los hubiera mantenido tres meses más probablemente hubiera hecho un 3000-4000%.
No quiero alargar mucho más el post, podría hablar sobre muchos más juegos que sali con saldo positivo, como Rising Star, Splinterlands, Sunflowers Farmers, Binemon, PetGames, Eterland, entre otros más.
Quiero dejar algunos consejos según mi experiencia participando en más de 15 juegos play to earn.
- Revisar muy a detalle el whitepaper del proyecto en el que pretendes ingresar.
- En redes como la Binance Smart Chain es posible ver las wallets con los tokens de los devs, es más recomendable entrar en proyectos donde los wallet de los desarroladores estén bloqueadas, de forma que hay menos posibilidades de que se realicé un rugpull, como me sucedio con starminer.
- No entrar a proyectos por recomendación de youtubers sin analizarlo a detalle, generalmente los videos suelen ser promociones pagas donde los pocos que salen ganando son los influencers.
- No es recomendable entrar en un juego que venga en alza hace varios dias y este entrando mucho flujo de personas, es probable que no llegues a obtener el ROI. Lamentablemente muchos de los juegos que salen no duran más de un mes y el boom que tienen es lo que los termina de matar.
- La comunidad es un punto importante en un proyecto, siempre es bueno entrar al discord o telegram y analizar su comunidad. Un proyecto donde el FUD es constante, probablemente no tengo mucha proyección.
