For today I bring you a song that I had been wanting to bring you for a while, I just couldn't find how to prepare it mainly because of the voice since the vocalist has a higher voice tone than mine, but I was able to solve the situation and I was satisfied with the result. Now, getting into the subject, the theme that summons us is called “The Mountain” and we are going to associate it directly with our goals and everything we want to achieve. Whenever we talk about a life project, we refer to the fulfillment of each goal as a climb of a step, the summit being the highest achievement in our hierarchy of priorities. Everything in life is a process and we must understand that each one of us has a different rhythm to learn and assimilate important information that later becomes substantial experience to defend ourselves against adversities.
For many their main goals are to have a good job or have a lot of money, not denying that in my case it is the same, but since childhood I have learned that many of the good things that happen to us is because we follow the path of good, the path of God and I have always trusted in my process and its destiny. I have ambitions like any human being, but mine are based on breaking key paradigms, including overcoming the most toxic and harmful emotions that may exist to live well in the environment where I am.
The song I bring you is called “Resentment” from the 7th studio album of the American metalcore band A Day To Remember, called You're Welcome. This song, as its title indicates, talks about resentment and the phases of a person feeling it until it explodes and turns his life into chaos. I felt this once and in the worst possible way; I felt hatred towards a person who hurt my family a lot and believe me I was not happy. Every time I saw this person, my mind was clouded and I felt the need to leave my house and escape, but after some time already exposed to this sensation, I felt something worse, I felt like hurting this person...
Obviously that was not part of my way of being, but I felt it and that made me go to therapy for a long time, because unfortunately that person was part of my family too. After so many conflicts, I had to give in and I had to talk to that person to let him know everything that was happening to me and in the end he asked me for forgiveness and that touched my heart and I forgave him after such a long time of agony in my being. I am talking about this because I felt free, that a huge weight was lifted from me and that everything that had stagnated in me, began to flow more naturally to the point that everything in my life began to improve in a very positive way.
The point of my reflection today is that if there is something that cancels you out, that mutilates your dreams and goals, do your best to solve it, because otherwise life becomes a constant storm and no matter how much you want to do something right, the amount of mistakes you will make, one after the other, will be enormous... For me, that point in my life was the pinnacle of my well-being and since then, until the present, I understood more the genesis of the existential discomforts of many human beings and for that reason I live my life in constant harmony with my fellow men and with respect to my integrity mainly, because self-love should be the most valuable banner that directs our lives.
I really enjoyed doing this cover, the additional vocals were also done by me and I even wanted to add something new to my guttural singing which was another guttural voice with a darker and heavier tone to make a good contrast, besides that many bands use this resource to make this voice thunderous in their musical productions, what do you think of the result? 🤘

Espero de todo corazón que se encuentren bien y que la semana haya culminado con éxito para cada uno de ustedes, de ese modo podremos todos juntos iniciar la próxima semana con la mejor energía posible y con la bendición de Dios siempre 🙏❤️.
Para hoy les traigo una canción que tenía tiempo queriéndoles traer, solo que no hallaba como prepararla principalmente por la voz ya que el vocalista tiene un tono de voz más alto que el mío, pero pude solventar la situación y quedé satisfecho con el resultado. Ahora bien, entrando en materia, la temática que nos convoca se llama "La Montaña" y la vamos a asociar directamente con nuestras metas y todo aquello que deseamos alcanzar. Siempre que hablamos de un proyecto de vida, nos referimos al cumplimiento de cada objetivo como una subida de un escalón, siendo la cúspide el logro más alto de nuestra jerarquía de prioridades. Todo en la vida es un proceso y debemos entender que cada uno posee un ritmo distinto para aprender y asimilar información importante que luego se convierte en experiencia sustancial para defendernos ante las adversidades.
Para muchos sus metas principales están en tener un buen trabajo o tener mucho dinero, no niego que en mi caso sea igual, pero desde pequeño he aprendido que muchas de las cosas buenas que nos pasan es porque seguimos el camino del bien, el camino de Dios y yo siempre he confiado en mi proceso y su destino. Yo tengo ambiciones como cualquier ser humano, pero las mías se basan en romper paradigmas claves, entre ellos superar las emociones más tóxicas y nocivas que puedan existir para vivir bien en el medio en donde esté.
La canción que les traigo se llama "Resentment" perteneciente al 7mo álbum de estudio de la banda de metalcore norteamericana A Day To Remember, llamado You're Welcome. Esta canción como su título lo indica, nos habla del resentimiento y de las fases de una persona al sentirlo hasta explotar y convertir en un caos su vida. Yo sentí esto alguna vez y de la peor forma posible; yo sentía odio hacia una persona que le hizo mucho daño a mi familia y créanme que no era feliz. Cada vez que veía a esta persona, mi mente se nublaba y sentía la necesidad de irme de mi casa y escapar, pero luego de un tiempo ya expuesto a esta sensación, sentía algo peor, ganas de hacerle daño a esta persona...
Obviamente eso no hacía parte de mi forma de ser, pero lo sentía y eso me hizo ir a terapia por un buen tiempo, porque lamentablemente esa persona era parte de mi familia también. Luego de tantos conflictos, me tocó ceder y tuve que hablar con esa persona para hacerle saber todo lo que me pasaba y al final me pidió perdón y eso me llegó al corazón y le perdoné luego de tanto tiempo de agonía en mi ser. Les hablo de esto porque me sentí libre, que un peso enorme se fue de mi y que todo aquello que había estancado en mi, empezó a fluir con más naturalidad al punto tal que todo en mi vida mejoró de forma muy positiva.
El punto central de mi reflexión de hoy es que si existe algo que te anule, que mutile tus sueños y metas, haz lo posible por solucionarlo, porque de lo contrario la vida se vuelve una tormenta constante y por más que quieras hacer algo bien, la cantidad de errores que cometerás, uno tras otro, será enorme... Para mi, ese punto de mi vida fue la cúspide de mi bienestar y desde ese entonces, hasta el presente, entendí más la génesis de los malestares existenciales de muchos seres humanos y por ello vivo mi vida en constante armonía con mis semejantes y con respeto a mi integridad principalmente, porque el amor propio debe ser el estandarte más valioso que dirija nuestras vidas.
Este cover me gustó mucho hacerlo, las voces adicionales las hice igualmente yo e incluso quise agregar algo nuevo a mi canto gutural que fue otra voz en gutural con un tono más oscuro y pesado para hacer un buen contraste, además de que muchas bandas utilizan este recurso para hacer estruendosa esta voz en sus producciones musicales, que piensan del resultado? 🤘
