Hello Hive and Hive Open Mic family, how nice it is to be with you again even though time has played against me a little bit due to obligations outside of Hive, but we are here to rock this stage as it should and leave an indelible mark on each of you.
The video I bring you today is very special because I'm accompanied by my girlfriend @ljfenix. For her this song was a challenge because of the language and also because it is extreme metal, however, I feel that she did a great job because I asked her to help me with the chorus of the song whose original tone is very high for me and in her voice it sounds great.
Confined is one of the singles from the great album Shadows Are Security by the American metalcore band As I Lay Dying released in 2005. This band has had an immense legacy in the genre and despite the problems they have had to keep up with today, they will always be a great metalcore reference since they were one of the pioneers in taking it to another level and globalizing it with their powerful screams, guitar riffs and frenetic drums. The song talks about existential dilemmas and the constant inner struggle we human beings have when we lose the meaning and purpose of life.
The video of this song is represented by the rain and that's why I wanted to bring a vocal cover of it, below I leave it for you to enjoy. The rain has many meanings and I have read in several posts published this week, the approach of each one with respect to it and I have simply loved what I have seen, now, I want to let you know from my profession the meaning of it.
When we psychologists evaluate patients we use different types of psychometric tools, among them projective tests. These consist mainly of drawings, in case you do not know, in the writing or in the drawings themselves, we can know the psychological state of a person and this gives us a preamble of the patient's condition at a general level. Among the projective tests we have the human figure or human figure in the rain; the rain itself represents the patient's burden in terms of anxiety-anger-repression. The intensity of the rain in the drawing will symbolize how disturbed the patient may be with the reason for the consultation.

Hola familia de Hive y del Hive Open Mic, qué bonito es estar nuevamente con ustedes pese a que el tiempo me ha jugado un poco en contra por obligaciones fuera de Hive, pero aquí estamos para rockear esta tarima como se debe y dejar una huella imborrable en cada uno de ustedes.
El video que les traigo hoy es muy especial porque me acompaña mi novia @ljfenix. Para ella esta canción fue un reto debido al idioma y también porque es metal extremo, sin embargo, siento que hizo un trabajo grandioso ya que le pedí que me ayudara con el coro de la canción cuya tonalidad original queda muy alta para mi y en su voz se escucha muy genial.
Confined es uno de los sencillos del grandioso disco Shadows Are Security de la banda de metalcore estadounidense As I Lay Dying lanzado en el año 2005. Esta banda ha tenido un legado inmenso en el género y a pesar de los problemas que ha tenido para mantenerse en la actualidad, siempre será un gran referente del metalcore ya que fue una de las pioneras en llevarlo a otro nivel y globalizarlo con sus poderosos screams, riffs de guitarras y baterías frenéticas. La canción habla de los dilemas existenciales y la lucha constante interior que tenemos los seres humanos cuando perdemos el sentido y propósito de vida.
El video de esta canción está representado por la lluvia y por ello quise traer un cover vocal del mismo, más abajo se los dejo para que lo disfruten. La lluvia tiene muchos significados y he leído en diversos posts publicados esta semana, el enfoque de cada quien con respecto a ella y sencillamente me ha encantado lo que he visto, ahora bien, yo quiero darles a conocer desde mi profesión el significado de la misma.
Nosotros los psicólogos cuando evaluamos a los pacientes utilizamos diversos tipos de herramientas psicométricas, entre ellas los test proyectivos. Estos consisten en dibujos principalmente, por si no lo saben, en la escritura o en los dibujos en sí, se puede conocer el estado psicológico de una persona y esto nos da un preámbulo de la condición del paciente a nivel general. Dentro de los test proyectivos tenemos el de la figura humana o figura humana bajo la lluvia; la lluvia en sí representa la carga del paciente en cuanto ansiedad-angustia-represión se refiere. La intensidad de la misma en el dibujo va a simbolizar que tan perturbado puede estar el evaluado con su motivo de consulta.
Haciendo la psicología a un lado, recientemente en mi ciudad las lluvias fuertes han traído pérdidas humanas y materiales muy valiosas, tanto así que la alcaldía decretó estado de calamidad y ha suspendido temporalmente los accesos terrestres a ciertas áreas por los desbordamientos de ríos y quebradas. Quisiera elevar con ustedes una plegaria por las familias que han perdido todo y por aquellos que lloran la pérdida de un familiar 🙏❤️...
