The 100th Hive Open Mic event is nearly here, hip-hip-hooray! For the 99th week, we're inviting all musicians to perform the same song: "Oh My Love" by John Lennon and Yoko Ono. We will explore the following theme: "Oneness," connecting in unity, rhythm, and harmony across the world. Everyone is encouraged to share the collective current as we express and connect through: Oneness.
With this post, we provide a printable PDF sheet of lyrics (in English and Spanish) and a downloadable MP3 with an instrumental track to help you with your recording process. During your recording, we invite you to listen with headphones to this MP3, in order to ensure our recordings are all in harmony and in rhythm, so we can synchronize them into one presentation.
The end result will be similar to the song we co-created in week 72: "Simple Pretty Melody". This will give us something substantial for our 100th week. It will be a symbol of global harmony.

"Oh My Love" is a song written by John Lennon and Yoko Ono, appearing on Lennon's Imagine album in 1971 (Wikipedia). This is the song we are invited to sing together for the 99th week. It is a song about experiencing love for the first time, seeing and feeling the love. Thanks to @betzaelcorvo, @jesuslnrs, and @mipiano for contributing to our Spanish version of this song.

This week's Hive Open Mic theme is: “Oneness.” This is a pressure-free invitation, encouraging us to explore new territory together as artists, sharing common ground as a community. Musicians always have full freedom to bring whatever music feels inspired in the moment. Here's a timeline, for anyone wishing to look back, be present, or prepare future entries.
How To Play
1. Produce - Introduce your video by saying the words, “Hive Open Mic Week 99,” including your name. Perform a song.
2. Present - Post your video in the Hive Open Mic community. Include the tag #openmic.
3. Promote - Share your link in the comments section of Sunday's open mic invitation in order to ensure your entry is heard.
4. Prosper - Build relationships by engaging with fellow music lovers through uplifting comments.
