"Family", a beautiful and powerful word. It was exactly one year ago when an accident changed the destiny of mine, an event that has caused in the four of us that physically today we are only three living on earth and that in retrospect made the four of us stronger in every way that a human being can grow. On July 27th of last year my parents were celebrating 37 years of marriage in Maracay and I had just arrived from a national musical tour. I was on stage rehearsing for the recording of my band's album when my cell phone started ringing. Out of respect for the music I didn't answer the call, but in the first pause it was my beloved @jhoxiris who came to give me the news.
All these days I have thought a lot about this date and I have talked a lot with my mom @zorajr, and after so much sadness we always came to the same conclusion. July 27 is not a sad day for our family. It's still my parents' wedding anniversary and also, it's the day we celebrate that my dad, @armandolnrs survived an accident that could have been fatal, but it wasn't. Of course life changed us, plus he was never able to walk, among many other things that happened, but his living was the best wedding gift he could give to his wife and children, @alinares and me.
You know that this event changed my life, that pain took over me twelve months ago. I could barely re-record my participations for the Hive Open Mic last week, because for me, this community is a family, I love it very much, in fact I love the Hive platform completely and I remember that it was here where I knew that human charity also reaches this virtual world, managed by people with big hearts. I will always thank @musicandreview who made a post reporting what happened when I didn't even have a head to think. I never forget that @eddiespino helped me by sharing the information of what happened to the whole blockchain and finally, six months later when life surprised us again with the consequences of the accident, my great friends @nahupuku and @orimusic revived the cooperation between hivers in the most extreme moment of my life.
This year I proved that the power of love can do anything. Nothing is impossible to help and to save a life. Only God has the final decision and definitely His timing is perfect. In a life and death situation one usually has super powers and for six months we had to keep our wings to take care of my dad's flight, we had the opportunity to say goodbye and that all this prolonged outcome has been very happy for him, despite the pain of his wounds, his soul always remained firm.
Definitely the people of Hive Open Mic are my family, starting with @cabelindsay, @mipiano and @fernanblog, my great accomplices in joys and sorrows. Throughout this process were also present @rosana6 and @maitt87, with whom in fact I have many links and did not know it. And it was thanks to Hive that an ambulance, a medical study and even the burial expenses became easier for us, because it turns out that projects like @ocd, @ranchorelaxo, @arcange and users like @theycallmedan, @appreciator, @trafalgar, @guiltyparties, @xeldal, @acidyo and many more; I am eternally grateful to all of you, I know you know the situation in my country Venezuela, but I reiterate that living it is much stronger than what you can know through the media. Without your help this road would have been more bitter.
One way or another I managed to stay active around here, a bit low profile. My blood family is my greatest treasure and it needed me, it still needs me because now we are learning to live without the most solid pillar of our home. I can't name all the participants of the Hive Open Mic, but they know what they mean to me, and they know that this community is a strong and solid family, at least for those who feel the platform as I do. I also thank all those who have helped me in the healing process I'm living, even with a comment of encouragement as @fermionico, @ylich, @daniel2001, @stefy. music, @eugelys, @equipodelta, @nanixxx, @lecumberre, @elbuhito, @gaborockstar, @benii, @wbrandt, @betzaelcorvo, @mayorkeys, @omarcitorojas, @zullyscott and many more that right now I don't remember, but that have left me a teaching or a token of affection in this arduous path called mourning; the platform is the blood that unites us as a family.
To commemorate this date, I wanted to make this humble cover loaded with a lot of feeling of the song Love Cannot Be Forgotten by Pimpinela. The lyrics describe perfectly what I feel and I know that many will agree with the feeling of this composition. I shot my video with my Tecno Pova II and edited it with Shot Cut. I also want to share the version that my parents did for the Hive Open Mic week 54, they really did a good version, I wish success and long and good life to all who read these lines!...
"Familia", una palabra hermosa y poderosa. Fue exactamente hace un año cuando un accidente cambió el destino de la mía, un suceso que ha ocasionado en nosotros cuatro que físicamente hoy solo seamos tres viviendo en la tierra y que en retrospectiva nos hizo más fuerte a los cuatro en todos los sentidos que un ser humano puede crecer. El 27 de Julio del año pasado mis papás cumplían 37 años de matrimonio en Maracay y yo acababa de llegar de una gira musical nacional. Estaba en plena tarima ensayando para la grabación de un disco de mi agrupación cuando comenzó a repicar mi celular. Por respeto a la música no respondí la llamada, pero en la primera pausa fue mi amada @jhoxiris quien se acercó a darme la noticia.
Todos estos días he pensado mucho en esta fecha y he hablado mucho con mi mamá @zorajr, y luego de tanta tristeza siempre llegamos a la misma conclusión. El 27 de Julio no es un día triste para nuestra familia. Sigue siendo el aniversario de boda de mis padres y además, es el día que celebramos que mi papá, @armandolnrs sobrevivió a un accidente que pudo ser fatal, pero no fue así. Por supuesto la vida nos cambió, más nunca pudo caminar, entre muchas otras cosas que ocurrieron, pero su vivir fue el mejor regalo de boda que le pudo dar a su esposa y a sus hijos, @alinares y yo.
Ustedes saben que este acontecimiento cambió mi vida, que el dolor se apoderó de mí desde hace doce meses. A penas pude volver a grabar mis participaciones para el Hive Open Mic la semana pasada, porque para mí, esta comunidad es una familia, le tengo mucho amor, de hecho amo a la plataforma de Hive por completo y recuerdo que fue aquí donde conocí que la caridad humana también llega a este mundo virtual, manejado por personas con grandes corazones. Siempre voy a agradecer a @musicandreview que hicieron un post informando lo ocurrido cuando yo no tenía ni cabeza para pensar. Nunca olvido que @eddiespino me ayudó compartiendo la información de lo sucedido a toda la blockchain y finalmente, seis meses después cuando la vida nos volvió a sorprender con las consecuencias del accidente, mis grandes amigos @nahupuku y @orimusic revivieron la cooperación entre hivers en el momento más extremo de mi vida.
Este año comprobé que el poder del amor lo puede todo. Nada es imposible para ayudar y para salvar una vida. Solo Dios tiene la decisión final y definitivamente su tiempo es perfecto. En una situación de vida y muertea uno le suelen surgir súpe r poderesy durante seis meses tuvimos que guardar nuestras alas para cuidar el vuelo de mi papá.Tuvimos la oportunidad de despedirnos y de que todo este desenlace prolongado haya sido muy feliz para él, a pesar del dolor de sus heridas, su alma siempre se mantuvo firme.
Definitivamente la gente de Hive Open Mic es mi familia, comenzando con @cabelindsay, @mipiano y @fernanblog, mis grandes cómplices en alegrías y tristezas. Durante todo este proceso también estuvieron presentes @rosana6 y @maitt87, con quienes de hecho tengo muchas vinculaciones y no lo sabía. Y fue gracias a Hive que una ambulancia, un estudio médico y hasta los gastos de entierro se nos hicieron más fáciles, porque resulta que proyectos como @ocd, @ranchorelaxo, @arcange y usuarios como @theycallmedan, @appreciator, @trafalgar, @guiltyparties, @xeldal, @acidyo y muchos más; estoy eternamente agradecido con todos, yo sé que conocen la situación que se vive en mi país Venezuela, pero les reitero que vivirlo es mucho más fuerte de lo que puedan conocer a través de medios de comunicación. Sin su ayuda este camino habría sido más amargo.
De una u otra forma logré mantenerme activo por acá, un poco bajo perfil. Mi familia de sangre es mi tesoro más grande y me necesitaba, me sigue necesitando porque ahora estamos aprendiendo a vivir sin el pilar más solido de nuestro hogar. No puedo nombrar a todos los participantes del Hive Open Mic, pero saben lo que significan para mí, y saben que esta comunidad es una familia fuerte y sólida, por lo menos para quienes sienten la plataforma igual que yo. Igual agradezco también a todos los que me han ayudado en el proceso de sanación que estoy viviendo, así sea con un comentario de aliento como @fermionico, @ylich, @daniel2001, @stefy.music, @eugelys, @equipodelta, @nanixxx, @lecumberre, @elbuhito, @gaborockstar, @benii, @wbrandt, @betzaelcorvo, @mayorkeys, @omarcitorojas, @zullyscott y muchos más que justo ahora no recuerdo, pero que me han dejado una enseñanza o una muestra de cariño en este arduo camino llamado luto; la plataforma es la sangre que nos une como familia.

La letra describe perfectamente lo que siento y sé que muchos estarán de acuerdo en el sentir de esta composición. Grabe mi video con mi Tecno Pova II y realicé la edición con Shot Cut.
