Hive Open Mic Week 262. Ave María(Cover @yayasing)

I'm delighted to be back here in this community after so long.
This week is special because, as the topic suggests, we are in Holy Week. All Christians around the world celebrate this date with devotion, as it was when Jesus died to save humanity from its sins and rose again to be elevated to the right hand of God.

Encantada de estar de nuevo por acá en esta comunidad después de tanto tiempo.
Esta semana es especial pues como ya lo sugiere el tema estamos en Semana Santa. Todos los cristianos del mundo celebran esta fecha con devoción pues fue cuando Jesús murió para salvar a la humanidad de sus pecados y resucitó para elevarse a la diestra de Dios

I personally do not practice this faith, although I believe there is a God—as I call him, a higher power that governs the universe and lives within us. Although I am not a Christian by conviction, I greatly enjoy sacred music, especially early music.
This piece I bring you today is from the Romantic period of music, Ave Maria by Franz Schubert, a German composer of great renown to this day. The piece is a prayer to the Virgin Mary in moments of despair and loneliness.

Yo personalmente no practico esta Fé aunque creo que existe un Dios ,así lo llamo yo ,una fuerza mayor que rige el universo y que vive en nosotros. Aunque no sea cristiana de convicción disfruto mucho la música sacra ,sobre todo la antigua.
Esta pieza que les traigo hoy es del periodo romántico de la música, el Ave María de Franz Schubert, compositor alemán de gran notoriedad hasta nuestros días. La pieza es una plegaria a la Virgen María en momentos de desesperación y soledad
