A Taiwanese otaku who helped to stop a knife attack on the Taichung metro has said that he did so because Himmel from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End would’ve done the same thing. He is hoping that his heroic act will help to improve the public’s perception of otaku in Taiwan.

This news doesn't make a big hit to people worldwide. For an otaku community, this news spreads so fast. I hope it'll spread to others too. The Otaku community isn't all bad because every human has good and bad sides. There are so many news that otaku are mostly bad people and even some animes or cartoons are banned because of logical thinking. I don't know why this news isn't that worldwide.

Not just the news is spreading fast. It's also making Sousou no Frieren's popularity higher and Otakus like me are curious about how good the anime is. After I watch all the episodes, I realize why people like that. New generations always take shortcuts in everything now. In terms of dungeon exploration and story, I always like how old generations make a game like that. A good story with there's something to learn. A fun to explore unknown things. NPC funny tasks tho it isn't necessary at all 😂. That feeling of old games that people in the new generation don't like... I can feel it on Sousou no Frieren. It feels so nostalgic. When I was a kid, there was nothing like a walkthrough or guide. We're fun trying everything that developers give to entertain us.
I hope everyone will feel the same again. Adventuring isn't supposedly easy. It should be exciting and fun. That's also why I like Darwin's adventure story. Maybe, some of you remember him as Charles Darwin the founder of Evolution theory. For me, he's a real adventurer on Earth. It's also impacting reality. Adventure of our life.
