Alive Chat Friday : Share Your Friday
I hope your Friday is super. Mine, not so. Well, here's how it all went... I got to sleep really late trying to finish all that I had scheduled yesterday. I managed that thankfully, although I was falling asleep towards the end of the post I did last night. 🤣
When I woke up at my usual alarm of 3:50am, I had trouble getting up and walking around. No shit I was in such pain that I needed to hang on to my cane. Yeah that rhymes. 😛 well, I went to work the previous three days. That meant walking up and down the stairs (we're on the fourth floor) and walking back and forth some two blocks or so to get to the boss's home office. In all honesty, my work area at home has a more comfy work chair 🤣 I naturally invested in my own comfort. So, I guess that took a toll on me and my pain. Not to mention that it was really rainy yesterday and I'd say getting a bit wet is not impossible. I had to call in sick today as I had trouble even walking around the flat as I did my cleaning chores. Good thing the kitties were patient with me and waited as I went about my tasks of cleaning and feeding them. 😹 My cane accompanied me as I swept the terrace floor of excess water from the cooling system. I usually am able to walk around on flat ground without the need of my cane. I reserved that for going up and down the stairs. That's unfortunately not the case today.
Fast forward to my day, it went on as usual and I worked on what I needed to work on. Glad for the mobile data hotspot that's an extra expense. Sad to say, nothing happened of the supposed day of technical support from the phone company. I tried tracking the service ticket only to find out that it was gone. We did not even get an update and still no Internet. 😡 To say I'm pissed is an understatement. 😠 I'm scouting around for an alternative. If I find one, I'm cancelling this one even though we've had the service for a long time. Lately the service is getting worse though. 🙄
No rain practically the entire day but no sun either so it was pretty cool. The rains came in the early evening as I'm working on this post. I got my rest today so I will need to go to work in the morning. It's the usual routine for me, anyway.
Kitties get their Friday chicken dinner. I have no energy to cook so I asked daughter to buy take out roasted chicken on her way home.
Onwards to my #LarryIsAlive quest...

I had a bit more time to surf my usual on CTPX. Thankfully, I've done all my quests for now. I did the adjusted one for now. If all goes well, that will be my new norm. 😂

Top priority to complete is LL. I'm very near the cash out limit but let's see. I did incur extra expenses with the unexpected ones from mobile data connection.

I'm done with the TAB surfing too. Just waiting to have dinner then perhaps relax a bit to rest my lower back and legs more. I do intend to go to work again tomorrow. My daughter will be home anyway.

I have over 600 reward points now, so I'm not too far off from my 1K goal on FAFY. I'll stick to the lessened activities for now.
Happy weekend to you if it's your last day of work for the week. 😉 I'm afraid I can't exactly call it my weekend yet. 🙄 oh well... this loss of Internet connection has given me undue stress. I think it's just right that I cancel the service if I find a better alternative.
