Christmas Countdown & the Morning after the Party

It's funny how I'm telling the story and it feels like it happened over many days. It's just an overnight adventure, yet when we stop and enjoy each moment, it does feel like it's longer than the actual vacation.

It was really late when we got back to the room, but we stayed up a bit more. I did take time to enjoy the bathtub. I even enjoyed an old movie showing on HBO. That's the cool thing about being in a hotel, they have cable channels. At home, we got rid of our subscriptions a long time ago, as we hardly watch TV anyway.

That's the view from outside our room window. Since we were just on the fifth floor, it wasn't high enough to see a cityscape. Admittedly, the view would be more lovely on a higher floor. LOL!

I was ready for breakfast but was just waiting for my daughter so I took this mirror selfie. That's right beside the window where I took the first photo.

Off we went to the ground floor lobby when I noticed this nice decor by the ground floor elevator. The coffee shop was packed. Since I have mobility issue, we were seated at the Tap Room again. They also had breakfast buffet set up there. I guess that was better than having to wait a while for a seat or two.

When we got back to the fifth floor, I remembered the window by the hallway. I was pretty sure it had a lovely view but it was night time when I got to the hotel. Sure enough, that's the Manila Bay view. I remember the sunset view here was spectacular. Do you happen to see the hotel pool? We also explored an art gallery by the lobby. I'll share the photos and story on my next post.

Daily goal achieved ☑️ pushed my weekly goal to 85% so I could finish it by tomorrow night. I think I'll go easy on Christmas eve which is a Saturday. We'll be busy prepping for our Christmas dinner then. LOL!

Daily surf and convert done on LL. It's a good thing that we're slowing down a bit at work. I can imagine other offices taking early breaks. I hope it's chill time tomorrow too.

I'm done with daily surf on TAB too. Well, I push for max when I can so I can manage to find breaks on some days. So far this strategy works for me.

Be thankful, it's Thursday. It's also two days before Christmas eve. How time flies! It will still be work as usual tomorrow. I'm not sure about Saturday, but we had work from years before. I imagine it would still be the same.

Time to wrap up tonight. I'm early as the misa de gallo won't start until around forty or so minutes from now. LOL! I'll be waiting for the livestream while prepping dinner on the side. 🤓😉
