Good-bye 2022; Hello 2023!

In one hour, we say good-bye to the year that was (2022) and welcome 2023! 🎉🎉

It's day 2 of my short yearend break. My daughter woke up earlier as she went out to buy the traditional dishes we usually serve on new year's eve -- asado (translation: roast pork) and lechon kawali (translation: pan-fried pork). We do not serve chicken on this night as there's belief that you'll have hand-to-mouth existence the whole year through. LOL! It may be superstitious belief but I won't mind believing in it just this once a year. We also hardly eat pork anymore, so this is also a treat.

Remember to have a fruit basket. Some say 12 fruits, others say 13 fruits should be included. This is supposed to bring abundance the whole year through.

My daughter surprised me with this yesterday. That was when it was delivered. It's oreo cheesecake -- something I craved for earlier in the year. LOL! She remembered and decided to order for our new year's eve dessert. 🍰😋 It was super yummy!

I finished surf on LL early, but I got distracted with meal preparations that I converted late. Oh no! That will also push back my convert time tomorrow. LOL!

I'm done with my daily surf on TAB. I do extra sites when I have extra time. Below is my stat for the month. I didn't exceed the points earned from last month, but the hits that my sites got was way more! Win-win woohoo!

'Tis the last day of chill time on FAFY. My monthly 1K goal resets by tomorrow. My daily login goal continues on.

The calendar may change but it's like we're resetting to another start. Our 2023 calendars are now in place. 🎉🎉 I was also able to do some furniture re-arrangement like the water dispenser and the sofa. I've cleaned up some spaces that needed immediate cleaning. (No thanks to the kitties LOL!)

May 2023 be the year that brings us the best in all aspects (physical, mental, financial, emotional, etc.) of our lives. 🙏🙏 Let us make a promise that despite what the year brings, we will continually do our best in all that we can.
