Super Typhoon Coming | LarryIsAlive

For the weekend, my daughter and I decided to watch a 10-episode TV series called The Lost Symbol. We, of course, divided that into two days of watching, but that still meant sleeping late on Saturday night. We were awakened by phone alerts from a government agency that warns of an upcoming super typhoon. No fun to be sleeping soundly only to be disturbed, esp since we both knew we did not have any alarms set for Sunday.

It turned out my need for more sleep won out, so I just ignored the alerts. Besides I was in some deep sleep dreaming of something interesting that by now, I have already forgotten. LOL! I just know there was some story in that dream. Oh well..

The super typhoon named #KardingPH is supposed to make landfall tonight. Apparently, some parts of the metro will fall under signal no. 4 (really strong typhoon). We'll just be indoors and enjoying the cool weather. Let's see how the weather goes in the morning.

Today I finally found all the four prized pages on FAFY. It's special Sunday too. I got all the 20K credits. Yay! I'm now at 1.5K points, definitely making it to the 1K club once more.

Five more days left in September. How time flies indeed! I can't imagine a typhoon -- much less a super one -- during this time of the year, but our weather has changed so much in the course of several years. It used to be June to August were the really rainy and wet months. During the last few years, we've been seeing the stronger typhoons coming in during the latter part of the year. For sure, Mother Earth has been experiencing major changes over the course of time. I do wonder if we ever get to know the real cause of these changes. I guess only time will tell...

I'm a bit sad it's now Sunday night, but I'm glad it's cool weather tonight. It may not sound so good, but I do love typhoons. To me, it brings memories of cozy days spent in bed doing nothing. Memories of yesteryears. LOL! But yeah, I'm sure I have to work in the morning. Boohoo. I'll see you in my next #LarryIsAlive quest post. Till then... have a great week ahead!
