Hello Hivians/SpendHBD Community.
My name is Grace Obike, a passionate and versatile professional with a strong background in Human Resources and a growing interest in creative problem-solving and workplace innovation. With over 11 years of experience spanning the entertainment, retail, consulting, and now paper manufacturing industries in Lagos, Nigeria, I bring a unique blend of strategic HR management and a practical understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices tailored for industrial and corporate settings.
I am especially passionate about recruiting, employee life cycle management, diversity, equity and inclusion, which involves building bridges between people, ideas, and opportunities. This passion revolves around fostering inclusive workplace cultures, streamlining HR operations, and developing forward-thinking HSE frameworks that prioritise both employee well-being and operational efficiency.
Furthermore, beyond my core HR role, I am also a Crypto enthusiast with a strong skill in writing. This has led me to explore Web3 technologies, conduct research about the digital space, engage in creative writing, and dive into the digital community platforms like Hive. Here, I hope to share insights, connect with like-minded professionals, and contribute meaningfully to global conversations.
Additionally, when I'm not working, you'll find me learning and unlearning new trends in HR management, packaging and rigid box design. Also, I thrive in developing my digital skills, or reading about the intersection of tech, people, and productivity and finding ways to implement ideas.
I love staying curious, impactful and steadily evolving, and leaving every place better than I found it. My gratitude goes to @Ivyann, who introduced me to this great community where I can Hive and SpendHBD. During the conversation, she overwhelmed me with facts, SpendHBD benefits and details, which made it difficult for me to say no. She also assisted in my seamless onboarding to the community. Dear Ivyann, I commend you for that act of camaraderie.
Finally, I am excited about this journey to learn and unlearn, create magic with like-minded individuals, benefit from the SpendHBD project through shop-to-earn, and stay Hiving.
One more thing, I am looking forward to connecting with all of you. “A tree cannot make a forest"
So, I would love to hear your tips for newbies. Please keep it coming.
