Hello everyone!
I just want to give my fellow hivers a glimpse into my day as a business owner. I spoke with some people about Hive and benefits of joining Spendhbd.. a few people are skeptical about it but i was able to get the contact of a couple of them.
I intend to reach out and follow up, soon I will have few of my friends who will join hive, i have reached out to @beauty197 so that she will onboard my neighbor who's interested.
Once again, I'm elated to be part of this #spendhbd community and #Hive platform.
It's been a busy day restocking items in my store @graclynhouse. I restocked some plastic furniture for children and Adults, footmat for living room, kitchen and bathroom, drums for storage, cutlery and other household essential items.

During the process of arranging and shelfing the stocks, i couldn't help but be proud of how far i have come in terms of experience and growth.
I started this business from the scratch with limited funds and all my life savings. I had no experience and mentorship. I just had the zeal and determination to make it successful.
I went through so many challenges -one was lack of adequate fund to run the the business on a full scale which led to my money being rejected by some suppliers because i could afford to pay for MOQ required for some goods.
It requires physical labour - time, energy and effort to visit factories, bring out stocks for display every morning and pack all the goods into the store every evening.
One of my major challenges was when my store(barely 3 months in Business was marked demolition for no tangible reason. I felt defeated and helpless. It was locked for one month before the issue was resolved, thankfully.
What i have learnt on this journey of entrepreneurship is - business will work successfully when one can identify a need that is unmet.
I was able to identify demand for affordable and 'Aesthetically Pleasing' plastic wares and household essentials .
This needs are not adequately me in my location by most of my competitors. . hence it was easy to spot their weaknesses. I developed a unique selling model by stocking catchy, vibrant, colorful,modern aesthetic pleasing and affordable items.
Personally, It is helping me to explore and get my groove back in my hobbies and interests. I'm currently navigating Some communities and i will surely start participating in all the prompts and activities.
The main goal of @graclynhouse is to make an impact by running an affordable business model.
You can imagine my excitement when @beauty197 introduced #Hive platform and @spendHBD to me. I knew right away that it alligns with my business goal model.

Although, some people are scared because they are not sure of authenticity of the platform due to some of their previous experiences in the country but it will not stop me from talking and bring people on board.
