Guess what guys? I was present at the spendhbd meeting todai after two consecutive weeks of being absent. I was way behind cuz a lot had been discussed while I was away plus I missed my hive family.
Today's meeting as usual kickstarted at 4pm but I arrived a bit late at 4:34 while the meeting was already in session with @ijelady taking the lead.
Well, three early birds were rewarded with bits of HBD to further encourage them and others. We were 14 in attendance with about 3 newbies which I only got to meet today. Let's delve into what was discussed in details:
The need for originality on hive: A concrete point was made and stressed when it comes to being original on hive. This means that all pictures must be original gotten by the writer of a post, no duplication or repetition of writeups and images. If at all a picture is sourced from the internet, the source must be properly cited. Copying other people's work without consent is a crime(plagiarism) punishable by law and must be avoided, the excessive use of emojis and gifs must be steered clear
Right use of tags: @ijelady also emphasized the need to use tags appropriately, tags for the right community and posts. Abuse of tags is not a trivial issue and must be treated seriously
Use of resource credits: newbies whose passion has driven them to writing several posts often complained of their activities on the platform being limited due to low resource credits. The host was carefully expantiated on the reason why it happened that way and explained that the newbies use the available RC judiciously while trying to grow their hive power which boosts resource credits
A lot was said about onboarding new members to join the spend hbd project as there is a constant 2.5% reward for referrals after each shopping spree, this makes onboarding fun-filled and exciting.
After all being said, @ijelady did a run-through of what the week would look like with Tuesday and Thursday meant for promotion at the local markets and this has given us the surge to start the week with so much aura and optimism
The meeting ended with room for questions, chitchat, selfies and photograph sessions and we called it a day, the curtain was drawn melodiously
It was worth my presence.
