Writing down here are details about me
I'm Mrs calista Joe Nkire popularly know as CallyJoe . A native of Nwangele local government area in Imo state but got married to Mr. Joseph Nkire from Aba south local government area in Abia state which automatically made me a full indigene of the state of Abia.
Let me take u back to my early life
I was born into the family of Mr and Mrs Johnson Ibewike as their third child out of nine children. My father died early and my mother played the role of a father and mother at the same time
EDUCATIONAL LIFE
I attended community school Umuorlu Isu where I completed my six years elementary education which was also where I obtained my first school leaving certificate.
Due to some financial challenges that was being faced by my mother, I had to engage myself in some menial jobs, craft making e.t.c in which I earned little amount from and this made me stay for an extra year before proceeding to secondary school. Through all the storms of life I was still pushing through because my education has always been my number one priority.
Even in my secondary school days, I took advantage of holidays and weekends as when I do my menial jobs and craft making which the little find I generate from it, I use in helping my mom to support my education
Finally I graduated from secondary school with flying colors.
After my secondary school education, my mom pleaded with me to go and learn a skill ( tailoring) she gave me reasons why I shouldn't further my education which one of the reasons she gave was because of the funds that will be used to sponsor my education. Well after considering the poor widow, I decided to give tailoring a try. I didn't stay up to two weeks I knew that the skill wasn't for me . So I told my mom to allow me go and stay with my immediate elder sister though she is late now who was then in the city of Aba. My idea was supported by my boss as she told my mom how I wasn't concentrating in learning the skill.
I moved down to Aba the following day and told my elder sister my plan she then suggested that I should at least find something doing in order to gather some money that will be used in furthering my education. I started working with Dona motors Nigeria limited where I worked for four years as a cashier then a receptionist.
The money I got from the work with the little support I got from my elder sister was what I used to enroll into the National teachers institute (NTI) where I obtained my teachers grade2 certificate it was during that time that my mother passed away.. may her gentle soul keep resting in peace..
After my NTI I also furged ahead to acquire a higher certificate in Ondo state college of education where I obtained my NCE ( National certificate in education)
CARRIER
Am a teacher by profession, I once owned a private school which existed for years before it was closed due to some circumstances
Am also a Nigerian actress a member of AGN ( Actors guild of Nigeria).
I have featured in many Nigerian movies some of them are my blood, the armed robbers, journey of money, to mention just a few.
HOBBIES
I love singing, I gives me much joy and confidence, I do sing in my local church, as a matter of fact, I realeasd a special music for my village and also have other albums that was composed by me
Acting is also my hobby I derive joy from acting
The best of them all is farming .I have a piece of land very close to my house where I do farm. I have varieties of plants that I planted there. Waking up every morning and seeing my crops in good condition gives me strength and courage. The way I do take care of this plants is really impressive.
HOW I GOT TO KNOW ABOUT HIVE
I got to about hive through Radio message, I can vividly remember that faithful morning I was listening to my radio I heard about hive then I recalled hearing my daughter @positivity49 talked about it so i asked her more about it which she gave me a satisfying answer
As a teacher who loves exploring and learning on a daily basis and believes that learning never ends I ventured into being part of this big hive family.
Here I am today sharing some parts of my life stories honestly am really grateful
I will be sharing some of my teaching experiences, farming experience and many other interesting things with my hive family
