After a weekend of recovery at the vet and continued improvement, we got the call this morning with the final update. She was very bright and happy this morning, she was wagging her tail as well. She ate very well this morning and had two formed bowel movements! She took her meds like a champ in some canned food. She seemed like she is feeling much better.
This meant she could come home!
So this afternoon the wife picked her up and brought her home. You can see from the photo above she was released with the cone of shame. But daddy didn;t allow that to stay on too long because we couldn't have any good hugs and kisses with that darn thing.
It is now late at night and we are both sitting in my recliner. She is sleeping soundly as I type this update for all of you. There is a smile on my face that goes ear to ear. I want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers that offered them over the last few days. You have no idea how much this dog means to me.
