...and they do fall down.
Believe me, this weeble wobbled and fell down. I am a pretty large weeble too, so when I fall down it is a crash that literally shakes the entire house.
It happens occasionally though, and like I told someone just the other morning here on Hive, I have adapted my lifestyle to it. No need to feel sorry for myself, it accomplishes nothing.
We did get the basement just about finished up on Sunday. My youngest even came over to help us. I say we, but it was mostly the wife and him. I made a couple trips down the stairs and got wonky so was benched for the day.
I feel accomplished though as I did manage to carry some kettle bells and dumbells downstairs by myself. The son and I carried the walking pad down, although I probably shouldn't have.
My wife told me as much too.
Speaking of my dear ole' lady; I might have mentioned that she decorates for the seasons and holidays. I even shared some of her snowmen decorating the house for winter. Well now it looks like Easter and Spring threw up in the house, especially the living room.
I won't complain though as it is rather colorful and bright. A lot better than the usual red, green, black, white and grays of winter. Spring is coming, I can feel it, but I am not sure winter is done with us just yet. There is that feeling there is the hammer getting ready to drop one more time before it lets the nice weather in.
In fact we are supposed to have some pretty crap weather tonight and tomorrow, but luckily it is only rain. However the wind is supposed to be upward of HUrricane force in some areas. So, we are expecting to lose power most likely if we get those winds here. We are prepared for it though, as we always are.
Well, I wanted to get a post off before people started wondering if I was on a prolonged dirt nap or something. More to follow tomorrow.
