As I read the 10 questions and responses, suspense built up like an 808 at a rave. I envisioned myself helping othersβrole model. I responded in my head while reading responses in my head and got all twisted in my head like Cleveland's finest so I dropped everything like strip joint drawls and exclaimed Fuck it! I'm UP.
I. How long have you been on the blockchain?
About an hour I guess. That's a clever way of inquiring my morning ritual but whatevs. Typically I get in a cup of coffee and tip-toe around the pitch black house for a half hour brewing up a turd cuz one thing you do not :repeat: do not want to do is wake up my wife.
Starve her, lock her outside, cut the lights mid shower; although each have consequences, each are forgivable. Wake her up in the morning however, not so much. I might as well leave the house at that point and try again tomorrow.
II. What was your background in cryptocurrency when you first came to the blockchain?
Background as in screensaver? I hope these questions get easier.
III. What was your background in writing when you first came to the blockchain?
According to family legend I was sitting on grandpas lap shortly before my third birthday and read the LA Times out loud. All I remember is "Frances (that was my grandmothers name), he's reading the paper!"
Writing, on the other hand, I was spray painting Hot Wheels before I could walk.
IV. How many people did you know when you first came to the blockchain?
So much for easier. I'd been alive nearly 42 years the day I registered this account in 2017. Knowing how many people I got to know along the way is impossible like knowing what all of these overall wearing, unshaven, Santa Clause looking dudes at the petrol station look at on the internet when no one's looking. I have no idea. Never really thought about until now but it sure makes what I look at a lot more respectable.
V. How did you meet people when you first came to the blockchain?
Scrolled through trending, clicked on the top rewarded content, followed a handful of whales and lied my ass off.
VI. Who did you look up to when you first came to the blockchain?
People taller than me.
VII. How would you describe your first three months on the blockchain.
Like a high school reunion. I'm glad I went but once was enough.
VIII. Has being a part of the blockchain changed you in any way for the good?
Negative. I still fantasize about camouflaging myself alongside a watering hole on a distant farmland and lay and wait for a giant buck to quench its thirst in the scorching heat and I pounce on it like a fuckin cheetah and grab its antlers barehanded and hold it under water until the bubbles stop.
Chill out! Totally kidding. I wanted to say I'm as good as it gets and there's no room for improvement but didn't wanna sound like a weirdo.
IX. What is your favorite memory from your time on the blockchain?
Meeting up with @plantstoplanks and @dksart for lunch last year in Atlanta. Meeting up with @plantstoplanks and @dksart in North Carolina last month. Meeting up with @brandt last week when I stuck a pink sticker on YMF.
He got us a table. I was late cuz I'm always late but always worth the wait. It was one of those breakfast dates where the waitress waits and stops by every couple minutes mate for an hour to verify neither of us ate nor looked at menus yate.
X. If you could give advice to a new person signing up to Hive what would it be?
Keep an eye on autocorrect. If I wasn't paying attention just now, new person would've said Jew person, pay attention.
Take the vowels and consonants I strategically prepared today with a grain of salt if you're ice cold. I'm not bitter, pay attention.
Print your master key on a piece of paper. Print it four or five times and hide it or lock it up and bury it or all of the above just π ππππ - ππ - πππ π. Then remove it from your device.
