Hello, Hivers community, I wanted to participate in the #silverprompts and talk a little about my favorite hobbies with which I have developed certain projects, which have arisen in this stage of my retirement, are activities that I do to learn new things, and keep the mind active, among the hobbies I've been working is embroidery and drawing, although I change them from time to time, as my interests usually fade quickly, mainly when they begin to become routine.
Some time ago I was motivated to learn cross stitch embroidery, so I looked for some tutorials and started to make some projects with this type of embroidery, I really enjoyed doing this work, it was very relaxing, it helped me to concentrate, I could spend hours immersed in this work, I have been planning to take it up again, but I still do not have a clear idea, since I want to make my own design, but I know that one day a project will emerge from this in my head.
I also started to do another type of embroidery, although I have put it aside, I already have a design in mind to start the practice again, I just need to set a date and execute it.
But, at the moment, the hobby I dedicate more time to is drawing, I try to do at least two a week, mainly on weekends.
And the technique with which I work most often is watercolor on paper, perhaps because I can see the results faster, and I avoid the hours of waiting for drying.
At the moment I have dedicated myself to drawing birds, flowers and vases, however, I want to venture into making some kind of face, although this does not come out well, anyway I want to try, besides it is the worst thing that could happen to me.
In addition to these hobbies, I love to prepare desserts and I am planning to take a course in artistic pastry making in order to have more knowledge and be able to make beautiful desserts for family celebrations.
