Day 38 of The 100 Day Project found me feeling I needed some downtime. I chose to sit quietly when I arrived in the attic this morning, rather than searching for something to do.
As I sat it came to me to use my words.
I had a small pile of flyers that had been put through the letter box and was starting to build up. I began with those, cutting out words and phrases that appealed to me.
I added them to my little box or words.
When I'm out and about, I I like to pick up pamphlets, magazines and other written material if a word or phrase jumps out at me. When I'm home I cut the words out and save them for when the time is right.
I love using them for found poetry.
This morning I dug around in my little box of words and pulled out a phrase without looking at what I was choosing. I then pulled out 6 or 7 more and from those I used the ones you see in the image to make this:
If things are tough
Try something different
Start with
Your own
Wisdom
Wise words indeed!
I stuck the "poem" onto a page in my altered book and that was Day 38 done and dusted. Perfect! š
I'm glad I started the day by listening to my own wisdom and taking some time out.
