Hi, all awesome Silvery Bloggers!
Thanks to everyone who joined this edition of the #SilverPrompts and shared some memories or stories inspired by photographs.
Our team also made a couple of contributions. Silver Blonde Lizzie told us about her lovely memories of her last holiday with Mom Lily in Gone Fishing - Lily's Last Holiday. And SilverScot entertained us with a magical fictional story starring my wee rascal cat in The Adventures of Ageese - El Mago.
To everyone who shared their experiences and engaged with other Silver Bloggers in this initiative...
Thank You!!
If you missed some of the contributions, we encourage you to go back and read some of the awesome responses. If you would still like to support the authors, even though they're past their payout dates, you can leave a tip. (The web versions of @peakd and @ecency offer this facility.)
Although there were no prizes for the initiative, we promised that the selected blogs will be included in a special #SilverPrompts curation post.
So without further ado, in no particular order, here is a selection of some outstanding contributions that caught our attention.
My Long Lost Sister

But now, as I look at the picture of the woman in the picture with my dad, who I now call my sister, I wonder, how different would my life have been if my dad had put his name in the telephone book instead of my mum. What would it have been like to have two older sisters right from the start?
Memories of pride, sacrifice and personal satisfaction
by @tere.alv

The first feeling I get from this photograph is pride. I was the first daughter in my family to bring a degree to the house, although I had 2 older sisters, both dropped out of school, years later when it was my turn to study then I decided to graduate as a teacher and with much effort I did it.
Because Life is Messy (16+ L)
by @nickydee

It was one day we did it all despite our fear. The day we threw off the expectations of society and our shackles of unasked for responsibility… to fully live.
Romance at the Blue Marlin
by @artywink Silver Mamma Chef

They had only known each other for a few days, she felt like she had known him all her life.
Pete told her that it was their destiny to meet on the beach in Cape Town, and again at the Blue Marlin Hotel.
She knew this was different and she had found true love.
Last words...
