Why would you want one?
Because it is the jive thing to have nowadays!
Hehe, yeah, that's kind of true too, but not the reason why you "need" one. It more shows the proactive engagement of a Silver Blogger. And as we all know, engagement is one of the most important aspects on Hive.
So, as a "token" of appreciation, we started to give everyone the opportunity to choose their personal silver name to show that they are a proactive member. In addition, it also makes it easier to curate and moderate all the blogs and to see who's really involved in our "crazy wise" community.
That way, you immediately realise who is family so you can say hello and speak to a "real" member directly. It's a bit like your friends are also my friends. It's also a good way to find the "pearls" in our midst.
Now the Steps to get your own Silvery Name!
- Subscribe to our community. Then join in cheerfully, enthusiastically and, if you can, wittily, by posting to our community from time to time. Done?! Yes, so easy peasy... on to step two.
- After a few blogs into the Silverbloggers, come over to our Discord Coffee Corner and say something like, "Hi, I'm a Silverblogger and would like to get my personal silver name!" Beware, we gonna check on the steps... :)
- After you have gotten the personal name, please go and make a post about that chosen silvername and the story behind it! - Please use #silvernames as a tag!
And voilà, voilà!
