We were exhausted from yesterday's rendezvous down the valley that we spent most of today lazying instead of going out again. Thankfully, Sunday felt like it passed by slowly. Unlike the usual where time seems to be rushing elsewhere. The husband thought of driving to the city to check on some things but decided to postpone it. I wasn't in the mood either. My legs, thighs, and back hurt like I had been playing bowling or something, lol!
Blame the half-a-kilometer walk that we took Saturday afternoon. We had to leave the car in a parking space farther away because of the heavy traffic. We then strolled through the school grounds until we reached the place where we were to have Shawarma. Yep, we went down there to satisfy some cravings.😅
The funny thing is that when we arrived, there was a long queue of people waiting for their Pita, Nachos and such. The husband joined the line while me and my little guy went for a wee stroll. There were just so many people we couldn't take photographs. My bad, I forgot to mention that it was our town's festival which explains the traffic and why there were plenty of people.
We were down there from 3 until 6 in the evening. We dropped by a coffee house for some milk tea but it was full so we just drove back home.

But yeah, another not-so-productive weekend for us and we liked it. Sometimes, we just have to give in to what our body wants needs. And today, ours clamored for some rest and that's what we did. Although it is not much different from my typical day which is spent between the computer, playing with my Anyongi, taking some naps, snacking, and whatever little things that we do.
I think our furball was so tired too that he fell asleep soon after I dried his hair from a quick afternoon bath.

And I could not stop myself from visiting Hive and Binance. They're part of my daily routine, lazy or not. Lots of surprises these days and it's quite nice to take advantage of the market movements and make some profits no matter how small they may be. HIVE however is staking its time. It makes me wonder when will it take off too.🤔 We will wait, of course, everything has its time.
Meanwhile, our aunt who lost her battle with cancer yesterday morning is still in the city. Her immediate family has yet to decide when the burial will be. They might need to wait for one of her daughters who is residing abroad to come home, and that would mean her internment might not happen within the next 5 days. We will probably be on the road tomorrow or Tuesday to attend the wake. Will see.
Until then, life goes on...
Happy new week, frens!
