I am sure that all South Africans on Hive will agree with me. Loadshedding sucks!
For those that do not know what the term Loadshedding means, it is basically a chosen word by the authorities to replace the harsh words of forced power cuts. Due to mismanagement and a host of other misdemeanors we do not have enough electrical power to supply the country.
Today, for instance, we are on level 4 which means that we are supposed to have four 2.5 hour power cuts each per day.
Now imagine what this does, not only to us now in Winter but also to the economy. So, we have to dodge between the power cut times to get any work done. Yes, we also work on Saturdays and sometimes on Sundays at Papillon as poverty does not know time.
Some good neighborliness between the bee and his neighbor the beetle.
They switched places on the flowers, now the bee is at the bottom and the bee is at the top.
Just a shot of another bee with a budding flower.
A little spider dangled down from a branch above and came to sit on Marian's hand.
Now, we will have a look at a Painted lady butterfly at work.
A clear view of her unrolled tongue (proboscis) shaped like a straw sucking nectar from the flower.
After the meal it was time to lounge a bit in the sun.
Yes, there are always opportunities available during the loadshedding hours to either go and take 4 naps during the off times, or like me to go out into nature. We have become so accustomed to a constant power feed, that when it is cut off then we feel totally bereft. The good thing about it is, that for those that have hobbies, at least they have something to concentrate on and it also shows us how to get along without power.
It doesn't get us down, as we simply persevere with everything and accept all that life throws at us.
But, it is surely a bugger.
A sincere acknowledgement and appreciation for everyone that supports my posts during these erratic times.
And That's All Friends.
